I went in today & there was one gentleman operating the store. He was absolutely hustling making sure everyone got their food timely during the lunch rush & even made my tuna salad fresh! Thank you
*One small recommendation – The TVs weren’t on that I’m assuming display the menus so everyone had to look at one paper at the register. Have additional signage with your menu or paper menus accessible.

Let’s start with Tiffany…great help at the order counter. Having been our first time in she was very helpful. Then comes the Turk the sandwich guy! Wow what a masterpiece of sandwiches he made not to mention how delicious, flavorful and well put together they were. The potato salad was incredible. We will definitely be back again.

It was a beautiful day out so we decided to have a picnic in the park. And the perfect way to enjoy that us by going to Hero’s Downtown Subs, they make the best subs on fresh rolls. They only use the finest meats from Boars Head and the toppings are always perfect. Don’t forget to try your sub Hero’s Way !!

Great sandwich place that’s worth your time. I came in and ordered the corned beef Reuben, which is a new sandwich as of writing this review. Got it with potato salad and a drink for a decent price of around $12. The sandwich was incredibly delicious and they slice the meat fresh. The potato salad was also very good and my drink was chilled and delicious. My only few criticisms are their hours and the atmosphere. If they were open for at least 2 hours longer I would visit more often. Also the lobby would really benefit from some background music. Overall highly recommend.

My husband came in today to get two subs that are my favorite to get. They both ended up looking awful when I opened them up. One only had meat cheese and sauce that was it. The other had little to no toppings also. I really liked this place but this experience was extremely disappointing. I’d like to get this taken care of. I have changed your review to five stars in hopes that this can be resolved with the last order that I had that was disappointing

Ordered the Cuban and the mojo pork over powered the entire sandwich. The worst part was the cross contamination in that entire shop. Yes he was wearing gloves but I watched him answer his phone take an order on the touch screen handle cash and open drawers before making a sandwich, why wear gloves if you not going to change them . Definitely won’t be supporting this sandwich shop again

Stopped in for lunch. It’s a nice little Mom and Pop shop and the staff was very nice and made sure I had everything I needed.
I had the 187 and it was alright. I like sandwiches that have big flavors and was hoping to get that out of their homemade toppings for this sandwich but it was lackluster.
Am interested in trying something with their mojo pork next time I am in town.

I recently ordered a sub from this place and was immediately impressed. They have an incredible Italian sub, and the customer service was exceptional. I was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back!

I was craving a Hot Italian Sub so we gave this place a try. The staff were friendly and patient with me while I figured out exactly what I wanted. The place is clean and the sandwiches are made in front of you. We ordered the 12in Italian sub and they toasted it for us. It has a mom and pop feel to it in the middle of downtown New Port Richey. Will definitely visit them again.
