So glad we found this little place! It was a fun vibe with live music outside, but it wasn’t too loud inside the restaurant. The breadsticks are worth the extra $1 add on – I don’t think I’ve had a breadstick like this one before. It was crispy and fluffy. Loved the mac and cheese, and the wrap was really good too! Good serving sizes that left us with leftovers.

LIVE Music! Need i say more? Out back is where it’s at. Bags, arcade-style basketball hoops, outdoor bar, seating, and nice stage. Great experience. Didn’t try the food but it looked stellar.

Fast friendly attentive server. All of our meals were delicious! Good selection of entrees to choose from. Highly recommend the tater rings as a side. The soda is served in its own little mini pitcher, so clever.

First time at Herner’s Hideaway. This place was packed for the Friday Fish Fry but I was seated immediately. Fish was exceptional but the potatoe pancakes were absolutely perfect in every way! Slaw was good. All of the staff were very friendly. Definitely worth the drive there and I will definitely be back.

Talk about a happy accident! My original plan for lunch fell through, and after traveling a bit to get to this area, I was pretty bummed. But then I found this spot thanks to its awesome reviews, and I am so glad I came to check this place out!
What really stood out to me was the service. Our server was absolutely on point, checking up on us throughout the entire meal and making sure we felt super attended to. That kind of attentive service really makes a difference!
And the food? Awesome! We dove into the burgers, and they were everything you want: juicy and thick. I personally went for the jalapeño burger, and let me tell you, it delivered exactly what I’d expect from a burger with that name. Unlike other places that might just tease you with a hint of spice, this place piled on enough jalapeños to truly give me my fix. If you love a good kick, you won’t be disappointed!
Oh, and a little bonus point: the bathroom was very clean, which is always a pleasant surprise and just adds to a great experience.
Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area for lunch (or dinner!). You won’t regret it!

This was a great spot for food. The place has so much to offer from bags, volleyball, basketball, fire pit tables, and live music. The menu is huge and very diverse. The food was amazing. Great for a date, girls night, bromance. Will definitely be back.

Well from the front of the place and around the building it looks like it would be awesome to get a few drinks and get something to eat. Again it might have been an off night, but I’m sorry my service was awful. It looks like the bartender / server did not want to be there at all and wasn’t helpful I had to get my own silverware, my own plates. In my opinion the atmosphere could be a lot better you almost feel like you’re in a hoarders bar, there’s just too much stuff. I really had high hopes for this place I will visit again maybe next month, hopefully this can turn into the great hideaway that I was supposed to be. Okay one last thing do not order their boom boom shrimp it’s basically six shrimp dumped in the deep fryer with some crampy spicy sauce dribbled over them, for like $11.
