Atmosphere – 4/5
This locally owned deli is a favorite among Fairmont locals. The interior is small but clean and charming, with just a couple of tables (maybe two or three). Despite the tight space, it’s organized and well-kept. They offer an olive bar, a dessert case, and a variety of meats and cheeses sold by the slice or the pound. Fresh sandwiches are made right in front of you, with several bread options sliced to order.
Service – 3/5
Service was quick and efficient, but not very welcoming. No greeting, no small talk, and not even a thank you. They got the job done, but the interaction felt impersonal.

I tried two sandwiches. The Amish cold cut—normally made with ham, turkey, and bologna—I ordered without the turkey. Very good and fresh. I also had the Italian sandwich, which came with salami, pepperoni, and provolone cheese. Both were made on fresh Italian bread and came with your choice of toppings. Each sandwich also includes a pickle spear, which is a nice touch. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared.
I understand they’re planning to move to a larger location soon, which should help with the tight parking and limited seating. I’d definitely recommend stopping by for a quality sandwich—and I’ll be back.

A local fav for some lunch! I try and get different sandwiches when I come. Every sandwich comes with a pickle! The best pickle ever! They also sell many different things from desserts to other local goodies!

So glad I found this place when looking for a gas staion….what a great change from all the fast food I end up with in my travels. They offered me a sample of the chicken salad which is what I go cuz it is delightful. The brownie is for later on the road, but I will take their word for it that it’s the best. The bread is made local and is just as good as well. Very friendly staff, clean place. If I lived here I would spend lots of time here. Clean bathrooms as well. Love it!!!

I love, love, love this place. I lived in New York City for 10 years and have missed the specialty shops there. This place reminds me of one of those shops. The food is superb, with many unexpected choices. They also have a small, but interesting section of cooler drinks & canned goods. The salad bar is superb. It even includes Greek stuffed grape leaves… yummy! The staff is really nice and helpful. There are many customers that make a point to stop by on long trips through the state. I feel lucky to have this quaint shop in Fairmont, especially in my neighborhood!

Husband and I have been wanting to try Hermosilla’s for some time, and we finally made it there today.
Had a hard time hearing the cashier but we got the order in fine. There’s a decently broad menu available, plus regional drinks, chips, and locally made sides. The bread was fresh and the cuts in our sandwiches generous. Lo ed the pickles, and I love pickles, so I’ll be back for those too.
Excellent!!

Somehow I never knew that this deli existed until today. Stopped by and had the chicken salad sandwich and it was phenomenal. I don’t know how something as simple as chicken salad could be so amazing but it was. Even let me sample the chicken salad first to make sure that I liked it. Clean, inviting, and employees were wonderful with beautiful smiles on there faces. Will definitely be making the trip back from Morgantown for lunch. Thank you!

I ordered the Herm Reuben for takeout. Upon returning home and unwrapping the sandwich, I found it consisted solely of meat and cheese on white bread, lacking any dressing or slaw. Given the $13 price, I had anticipated more. I could’ve made the same thing at home for $3.
