Hermitage Steakhouse is a long-standing tradition for Middle Tennessee residents. We are located just east of the Nashville Airport near The Hermitage (Home of President Andrew Jackson). We have been serving the community as a local hang-out as well as that special occasion place since the 1970’s

Extremely mediocre, if I was super picky about how my $60 steak was cooked I wouldn’t have eaten it even in part. 2 stars for the salad bar, although the salad bar on its own deserves 4. was super fresh, lettuce was fantastic size and quality. The worst part was that we went for my dad’s birthday, he left so disappointed. We all did. It’s filled with the older crowd, nothing wrong with that, but that’s their customer base. They have regulars and that’s definitely who keeps them in business. Because it’s definitely not the steaks.

I took my wife to this wonderful place for her Christmas gift and we had the best waitress that a restaurant could possibly have named Kayla. We could not have asked for better service. The food was spectacular with a touch of home feeling. From the minute we walked in the door until we left these are some of the most warm and loving folks that we have encountered in a long time. This is the kind of place that we like to spend our time and money. A very classy place that deserves all of the stars a person could possibly give them. Look forward to our next visit. We have been to The Hermitage Steakhouse many times, but this was Valentines Day and our server made us feel so rushed that we could not even enjoy our experience. Even her tone was quick, sharp, and rushed. Although the food was good, we were only in the restaurant less than an hour for the entire meal, and that included desert.
Unfortunately, we will not be back due to this being a special night for all of us, and not getting to relax and enjoy it. Our experience was totally ruined. Especially when paying over $500 you would expect to be able to take your time and enjoy the experience, along with the meal.

This lil hidden gem was amazing loved everything about this place !! The Filet Mignon was absolutely perfect & the salad buffet bar had me wanting to make trip after trip back !! Will definitely be going back regularly !!

Our first visit here. All the guests seemed to know each other, like one big party. Or server, Josh, was fantastic and very attentive. We enjoyed the steak and salad bar. The food is really good.

Inside: waitress was good, when you get put off in the cut, you kind of get forgotten about.
Food: I’ll be honest, the food for the price is fine? Like. The bubble bread is not good. The steak again for the price wasn’t the best and i was disappointed.
The salad bar is the best part of this entire thing. I loved that.
Overall: very pricey and not worth it honestly.

Disappointing. Steak was way over priced, bland and chewy. Rice pilaf was out of a box. The salad bar was ok, but if paying 45-60$ for a steak we are not too interested in a buffet item. Plus all the fruit was canned. Only give bread if ask for it…they said because have to throw too much away. My strategy would be to improve the bread vs not offer it. Zero ambiance. Thought a mom and pop type steak house would have been awesome.

Nice quaint steakhouse. Salad bar was fresh . Steaks were bland. Described as cooked on hickory charcoal and didn’t have much of that Smokey flavor . Decent. Will not come back. The waitress was nice . Service friendly . Steak is a little too bland for me .

Don’t judge it’s book by its cover. This place in the inside looks like a beautiful, rustic cabin. It gives a very cozy and warm kind of feel. It was my first time here and I’m glad my husband and I stopped here. I had the best birthday dinner! They asked for a reservation but we didn’t have one. We waited about 15-20 min. on a Saturday evening in a cozy waiting area with a bar and beautiful Christmas tree before our table was ready. The salad bar is absolutely fresh! Everything was very yummy. Make room for dessert. This is a very special place. I have found my streak house! My husband and I just moved from Florida and Texas Roadhouse was our to go place for steaks. But The Hermitage Steakhouse is 10x better. The steaks just melt in your mouth with lots of flavor!
