My husband and I were out antique shopping and came across this diner. It was very clean. Unfortunately we missed breakfast and had to have lunch. It was a delicious grilled chicken bacon sandwich with a large amount of fries. The bacon was excellent, cooked to perfection. Fries were delicious. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Other staff also removed plates, asked if you needed anything more. More the 5 stars, if possible. Highly recommended.

My husband and I went for the first time this past Sunday and the food was delicious. I ordered an omelet with sausage and it came with home fries and toast. Everything was hot and the potatoes were very well seasoned.

I recently discovered Herminie Diner, tucked away off the beaten path, and it’s easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The service was outstanding too. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. It’s rare to find that level of personal care in dining these days.

Came here for breakfast and it was so delicious. I never had such perfectly scrambled eggs on my life. Their breakfast potatoes were delicious and seasoned perfectly. We got the rye toast and that was huge and delicious. As we were eating we saw 8 large pizza boxes with a pancake per box going out. Apparently, they been voted best pancakes for nearly a decade…one day I will come back to see for myself. But I saw others getting this pancakes, inside as well. Overall, great-tasting food, service is great, prices are good, love the atmosphere. You cannot go wrong with the food here, it all taste fresh and delicious.

The Herminie Diner did not disappoint! My boyfriend was in town, as I am a local, and we wanted to go to a diner. Even though I am from the area, I’ve never been to the Herminie Diner so I thought to give it a try. A bit of time went by and we realized that we were running late, and they closed soon. We made it in at 12:00 p.m., whenever they close at 12:30 p.m. on Sundays. Also, a note to make, their kitchen closes 30 minutes prior to closing each day, just to keep that in mind. I was worried that they weren’t going to seat us, since it was so late, but they seated us with no problem! The waitress was wonderful, and made sure that we had refills on our drinks if need be. Along with that, the food was so delicious and felt like it was all made with love while being served. While in the restaurant, I remember seeing a motto referencing “treating everyone like family that comes in”, and let me tell you, they stick true to that. My boyfriend and I felt like we were family in their diner, and I couldn’t leave a better review if I tried! If I could do more than 5 stars… I would! Definitely will be coming back here!

While traveling or visiting places we pride ourselves on stopping at local places even if a few minutes out of the way. We were not disappointed by the breakfast. We enjoyed omelets, sausage gravy, and friend potatoes but the pancake stole the show.

Bacon was a little overcrowded to MY liking but everything else was exceptionally good. The French toast pictured was mine and I don’t think I’ve ever had any quite as good as this.
Hubs had an omelette and it was good enough he didn’t have much to say, just a lot of nodding and “yummy “ noises. (That’s a good thing)

Eat local. Delicious breakfast. My daughter had Banana French toast with a side of bacon and I had the special which was two eggs choice of meat, toast and coffee and a side of potatoes. Great service friendly atmosphere. Cash only.
