My husband and I stopped in Emporia on our way from Philly to Florida. We stopped in at Fo Sho for something to eat after a long day of travel. My husband ordered a beer and a cocktail, I just had club soda. Took 15 minutes for the club soda to arrive, 25 minutes for the beer because the waitress want old enough to carry it. And even though we ordered food early, it took 45 minutes for it to arrive.
We (half) joked that we were going to pay for the drinks and go somewhere else for food because we were hungry. Lo and behold, the food arrived, and it was great!!! Kind of made up for the extremely slow service (the place wasn’t even half full).
Cheyenne, our waitress, was a shining bright spot. She kept checking on us while waiting for our food to be ready. The food really was good (though I’ve never seen onions on chicken piccata) and the cheesesteak could almost do Philly proud. For the price, it was well worth the stop.

I didn’t Catch the Bartenders name but man she was quick!!! I got the Nachos and they were perfect!!! I got the Chicken Parm with spaghetti, it was HUGE and delicious!! And it came out so Hot you could see the steam!!! Oh and the Tap beer prices were great and on Tuesday shots of JIM BEAM 2.99!! You can’t beat that anywhere up and down the highway.

I have been getting wings the last three times. They’re so overcooked that the chicken was dry. You can put all the sauce on it that you want, but the chicken is still dry and tough inside.
This time I ordered chicken piccata. Well, let me just say, don’t even bother. That dish tastes nothing like chicken piccata and trust me, I am Italian. The chicken was so hard and I’m not sure why the breadcrumbs were dark brown. It was also soggy and slimy like it was pre-cooked and then heated up. The sauce literally tasted like water, chicken bouillon, and some lemon. I also got a side of fries which were really light in color and soggy. The meal was ready in 10 minutes, so nothing is fresh. The best part about it was the garlic bread, but I couldn’t even dip that in the nasty tasting sauce with onions, floating around. I picked up my order as soon as it came out so it wasn’t sitting. Very disappointed and very pissed that I’ve wasted so much money there. I was just trying to give it a chance, but nothing has changed.
STOP these terrible shortcuts with food. Take a cooking course on food prep and food safety regulations. Your way isn’t working.

We found this place off of 95 when the snow storm hit last Saturday. Most of the places were closed letting employees out early to get home, however Fo Sho was open.
That evening you needed tickets to get in because of live entertainment however, we were seated in a outer takeout area, which was just fine.
We ordered dinner from a pretty full menu, my wife, having eggplant, Parmesan, myself chicken, Parmesan with rigatoni. The food was served in a reasonable amount of time, and we were pleasantly surprised.
Portion size was perfect, ingredients fresh, and the taste was amazing. The chicken was prepared to perfection, and the meat sauce was excellent. I told the waitress who is very good to thank the chef that the food tasted great.
The next time we pass through on I-95, I intend to make it a go to stop for dinner or lunch. I would highly recommend it

Walked in with a lot of hunger and a lot of money and the hostess told me they had no room for me to sit inside so my only option was in this indoor porch area secluded and away from the music and the TVs. I walked towards where she pointed and she quickly sat down a Caucasian party of 6 with no hesitation. I sat down anyway and waited and wasn’t greeted with a waitress, or asked if I wanted to drink anything, everyone seemed to just walk past me as if I didn’t exist. I got up and left and went to this great Mexican restaurant across the street and as soon as I walked in I was greeted like family. I ordered steak and shrimp and the food was amazing.

The meat’s where no hot at all ,they appeared to be precooked and then put on a plate to serve ,both meals was like that cold but good. but for the money I would have liked them to be Hot but the very nice waitress did heat it up for me and I took the other one cold with me and left a tip .

Not many places to dine in Emporia so I selected Fosho because it was too late to go to Petersburg . We ordered 3 salads and garlic parm wings which the wings cost $39.99 and we ordered boneless wings also. The boneless wings were sent back twice because they were too hard and I requested it to be taken off my ticket. The Parmesan wing dish looked good but the sauce was awful with no flavor the cook obviously didn’t know how to prepare the garlic Parmesan sauce. I had to prepare sauce at home and was then able to eat it the next day. The salads were the only thing we could eat for a bill of $99. Service was good but the food needs a lot of attention. We will not be dining at Fosho any mo. A big disappointment.

Stopped here on our way to Norfolk on a Thursday night at 7:00. Was a complete disorganized madhouse and the dining room was only about half full. Didn’t see any managers or anyone at all that worked there who appeared to be over 23 yrs old. Some were being overworked while others were just standing around. Food took forever. When it finally arrived it was very low quality. My baked potato was almost inedible and came without the fixings I had asked for. My wife’s bread came 15 minutes after she received her low quality pasta with freezer bag quality vegetables. My son’s pizza was barely cooked. Was the worst restaurant experience I have had in a very long time long time. Complete joke.

The place was very clean. For Most of the staff I’d bet it’s there first job. Its was not very busy on a Thursday night around 6pm. But I still wait 22min for my food. When it arrived I was not impressed at all. I ordered a frisbee Pizza and it literally was served on a frisbee and a paper plate. This pizza was just not good by any means of a pizza standards, I ordered three toppings pepperoni, hamburger and sausage. The pizza was served with the wrong toppings and it was very skimpy on the toppings. I also ordered a Philly cheese steak sub, this was good but again very skimpy on the toppings, more cheese than meat. And my pizza was burned on the edges for being a thin crust pizza there’s no reason that should have happened. When I ordered a refill on my beverage I was giving a smaller cup then my first one with more ice then I had in the larger cup, and my togo cup bigger than both. $7.99 was just too much to pay for the pizza at such a low quality, I’ve had better Pizza from bars with the kitchen closed.The Texas Pete’s hot sauce was served chilled. But I did get to keep the frisbee to remind me of the disappointment of this establishment.

The food was freakin amazing I had been up north for about three weeks and boi if it was absolutely amazing to sit down in a country dinner type atmosphere. Anyways the service was top tier my server was Logan sweet young lady went above and beyond especially with my extra ranch i definitely recommend the wings they were absolutely perfect and my salad I had was amazing and let me say the north people don’t know what sweet tea is so it was nice to get a couple glass of their sweet which might I add was absolutely Exhilarating to my taste buds all around i definitely recommend this place to anyone it’s AMAZING
