I tried this for the first time about a week ago. It’s a surprising gem for a gas station/convenience store. If you’re around the area, it’s worth trying. I’d be a regular if I was closer.
The burrito I got was the $11 ($12?) one. There is a $19 dollar one I almost tried and kind of regretted not, but as the lady was making the food, I was pleased with my choice.
The regular burrito is a large burrito. I will say it’s heavy on the rice, but it tasted good and the overall size is great. The price is good. I don’t know if the more expensive one is physically larger or just has more meat (I think it is larger, because the description says 2 tortillas).
I tried a Nashville Chicken Torta. I’ve never had a Mex-style Nashville chicken sandwich. It was really good. I probably liked it more than the burrito. I believe it was the same price.
No indoor dining.

Great hole in the wall place inside a gas station! Burrito Loco is HUGE and tastes pretty good for the money. $19 for burrito with four meats of your choice. Would / will be going back.

The restaurant is inside of Prime Gas station. The restaurant is take out, sometimes they have seating outside. I ordered the 3 Tacos with soup. The taco’s were crispy, the beef tender with just the right amount of cheese and cilantro. The soup was just what I wanted, rich, favorable and hardy. The price point was reasonable.10/10

Great place to grab take-out Mexican food. There’s no seating area inside so it’s all to-go. Also…don’t let the fact that it’s in a gas station worry you….it’s worth checking out.
I had a torta with chicken tinga (chipotle-flavored chicken)…..it was delicious and just the right size.
Can’t wait to go back to try other items!

I’ve been in this gas station dozens of times and finally grabbed takeout for the first time – blown away by how good the food was. We got a burrito bowl and alambre and everything was so tasty; the proteins were cooked very well and all the veggies and sauces were super fresh. Great prices and low key some of the best Mexican food on Central.

Good tacos, got the taco combo. They are street style with cilantro and onion. I tried the chicken tinga, al pastor and the Barbacoa. The Al Pastor was by far the best. There are 4-5 tables inside and a few high top tables on the sidewalk out front. Horchata was good.

A hidden Mexican restaurant inside a gas station— basically a speakeasy? So much fun to eat our delightful burritos while nestled between soda bottles on one side and car products on the other. Truly a unique and charming experience. The women working at the restaurant were incredibly friendly, and they assured us that the beans weren’t cooked with any meat, which was amazing to hear. The prices are fair and the portions are generous. I do wish the burrito was made with Monterrey jack or asadero cheese, instead of cheddar, but that’s my biggest complaint. The tortillas were very yummy too. Will definitely be back.

I’m literally eating the loaded quesadilla as I write this review, that’s how excited I am to have discovered it. This is the best quesadilla I’ve eaten in NE Minneapolis. I love getting take out, but my lady and I have eaten at the tables outside on a nice day in the past. I’m going back for another dilla soon.
