Heritage House is Tuscaloosa’s very first coffee shop. We offer over 40 varieties of coffees from all over the world, a collection of assorted teas, and a variety of fresh, from-scratch, baked goods and cafe lunches. Our little shop has come a long way in the last two decades, but one thing remains the same: coffee with friends is happiness tasted and time well spent.

Orders got mixed up, but the staff corrected it. My crepe was so sad. It might have had half a banana on it and a dollop of whipped cream. I love crepes, but this one was lacking. If you’re only offering 2 toppings don’t skimp on them. Just my two cents. Probably won’t be back.

Heritage House Coffee is One of the best coffee’s i have been to. Their Tea and coffee options are the best, they have Decaf and unsweet options. The staff is super kind and sweet the guy that take orders is very helpful and friendly wish him all the best. The place is very nice organized the atmosphere is cozy perfect to hangout with friends, partner… The coffe house is quite big there are plenty seating areas outside and inside. There are quiet spots like small rooms inside the coffee if you wanna work or study there. I like the Idea of Prayer wall it gives soul to the place. Overall we enjoyed our time there, will be visiting more.

Fantastic coffee shop… actually coffee, tea and cafe. It has a wonderful selection of seating that is warm and welcoming with big windows providing amazing light. The selection of drinks is diverse and everyone should find something they like. The food is very good and I highly recommend the baked oatmeal. They also have some nice items to purchase as a souvenir or gift.

Boss lady had a sweet crepe, which has decent flavor, but the crepe itself was tough and chewy. I had some type of breakfast sandwich, which was lack-luster. The pastries are good, but the coffee had a burnt taste.

It was really good and even though there was a long line on a Saturday morning, it didn’t feel like we had to wait long for everything once we ordered. I had the Nutella strawberry crepe and my husband had the French toast. We each had a Sugar Daddy with oat milk. He said he could have used more strawberries on his French toast. We also had a delicious blueberry muffin. The coffee tasted good but it wasn’t super delicious like I expected. It was nice and clean for there being so many people.

Heritage House is the perfect place for a morning talk over coffee, brunch date, or afternoon study session. Comfy couches inside, big tables if you have a large crowd, and outdoor seating! This is such a cozy local coffee shop! Great food for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. There is also a couple of nick nacks you can purchase.
