Amazingly good food! My husband and I were in Norwalk, CT for a wedding and the following day we were looking for a “brunch” place before heading back to Middletown, CT. Did a Google search and saw the reviews for Herb’s Place. While it wasn’t the sit down we were thinking of, I’m really glad we went. The food was SO good! We’ll definitely go back if we’re ever in that area again.

Amazing food! Herb has been in this spot for over 25 years. His food is consistently sooooo good. I enjoy coming here for breakfast and am always greeted with a smile. He has specials for lunch which are tasty as well.

20 years ago a food truck gave me food poisoning and I never considered another one again. If you’re like me and you assumed nothing good could come out of the back of a food truck, you may be correct. However, excellent food comes out of the side of Herbs all summer long! Restaurant quality without the frills and added expense. I should have given them a chance years ago.

5 Stars isn’t enough for Herb. Just got the Grilled Jerk Chicken Sandwich and it is probably one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. Not an exaggeration at all. My only regret is eating this at my desk, now my office smells of deliciousness of a glorious past lunch…it makes me sad I didn’t get 2 or 3. Do yourself a favor and drive past Washington Street to stop and visit Herb…best decision you could make for lunch and some conversation!
