I got the Ostara sandwich and the pickleback pasta and I am not exaggerating when I say this is literally the best thing I’ve ever tasted. I took one bite and immediately started planning my next visit.
That pickleback pasta? Dill-icious. Life-changing. I will be thinking about it at 2 a.m.

I can’t believe I haven’t been here before. I’ve lived in this area for about 7 years now and decided to drop in today. This place is amazing. I was a little scared of the prices but you get a sandwich that is basically 2 sandwiches and the taste was out of this world! I can’t wait to come back and try their other sandwiches. They have some really good side dishes too like the pickle back pasta salad. You should check them out today!

We had the Loki as advertised on a tic toc video.
Apparently when people see those the item sells out real fast so it changes quite frequently but they do have 5-6 sandwiches to choose from.
For the Loki we asked pickles on side as they are quite spicy just in case.
Nicest folks ever, actually thanked US for coming which doesn’t happen too often in businesses today.
Cozy and comfortable.
One super long cushion bench with tables in front of it but all the smaller tables do have hard chairs but was still quite comfortable.
The Loki ran $16.00 but was huge enough we could split it.
Also bought a super yummy potato salad which was 8 oz @ $4

I had The Beast. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Full of flavor and well worth the price. Can’t remember the sandwich my wife had, but it was their version of a reuben, which she loved as well. Service was quick, and they were pretty busy. We’ll be back.

My fiancée and I went to Herban Wolf Deli this afternoon and there was a line out the door and the restaurant was packed for good reason, we purchased the wolf dog, the Ravn and the Magni and they were the best flavored paninni’s I’ve ever eaten! So full of flavor and spice.
The portions are large and we’ve just found our bi-weekly place to eat. If you are in or close to Anoka and want an amazing meal for an affordable price make Herban Wolf Deli your next stop!
You won’t be disappointed, absolutely amazing customer service with home made delicious devil egg pasta, the pickle pasta is next on our to buy list. Amazing home made seasonings and jams and syrups for sale as well as awesome merch!

We LOVE a little lunch date to Herban Wolf Deli in downtown Anoka! Their paninis are so tasty, fun and unique! My husband got the Magni and I had the Ostara. Both were generous portions (I’m already excited to reheat my other half at home tomorrow!). We also shared the bourbon Black Forest cheesecake bar and it was amazing.
Even though it was super busy, the staff was oh so kind, smiley and kept things moving. Great food, great service means we definitely found a gem in our backyard as Ramsey residents!

Went today for the first time
We walked in and were immediately greeted with a smile and told about the possible wait time (30 min) the guy working was so friendly and kind but I didn’t catch his name. The wait time was no longer than 10 minutes and it was so worth it!
I ordered the pickle pasta salad, Ostara sandwich and the chicken tortellini soup.. all 10/10 delicious! The flavor of each thing was truly unreal!! It was definitely the best sandwich I’ve ever tasted! 100% will recommend to all my friends & family for the most delicious meal they will ever eat! Thanks for an over all great experience!

Really really great food and prices but even better service. The friend at the register was incredibly kind and fun and the food portions were huge and so yummy. I definitely recommend the dirty chai coffee cake and the pickle back pasta. Can’t wait to come back, this was worth a stop from out of state!
