HEALTHY AND DELICIOUS. This place is almost always busy, which is a good sign. All organic. Guilt free options that are delicious. We’ve had the pancakes, breakfast sandwich, bowls, avocado toast, chillaqueles and traditional breakfast. All delicious. Nice market but small, with mostly dry goods and prepared foods. Coffee and lattes are good too. Outside area to eat when weather is nice. It is expensive but worth it given the quality ingredients and decent sized portions.

When Dr.Axe gives a shout-out to a restaurant, it warrants visiting. While the market section of this storefront is a mere few aisle, the variety and quality of prepared foods abounds. The organic commitment and dietary options distinguish Herban Market from other “health food restaurants” across the region and the country for that matter.

Mediocre. A lot of restrictions. YET, they cook in avocado oil, which I’m allergic to. They don’t have whip cream because it’s dairy? but they have cheese. The options seem disjointed. Good for people who want gluten free pancakes. We spent 65.00 for a very small breakfast… Good quality. Very expensive.

My wife and I were introduced to Herban Market by our Granddaughter, who lives in Nashville. We met her there for Brunch on a Thursday, and the place was busy. However, our service was prompt, friendly and professional. We sat in the open-air seating on the front porch and greatly enjoyed the atmosphere. We were there for more than an hour, and never felt rushed. The entire menu is based on Organically grown, local sourced food.

I got a cappuccino with honey and I built my own bowl with lots of veggies and everything was absolutely delicious! It is pricey however the ingredients are top quality ingredients and worth every penny.

The food is good, actually really good, and I appreciate the fact that it is organic and grass-fed. However, I had a horrible experience.

If you are in the hospitality industry, which you are when you run a restaurant, you need to be hospitable. We were there having lunch when a staff member came over and said they close at 3:00, so we needed to wrap up. One of my friends went to the bathroom, my kids went to the bathroom, and I went to get some more water.

While guests were still inside, and not just us since there were many people there, they decided to mop one specific area of the floor. It was right in front of the water station. I did not realize they had mopped there because there was no warning and no sign at all. It was not the entire floor, just that one area.

I slipped and fell, hitting both of my elbows and both of my knees. It was very painful, and I was bruised. I almost hit my face because I kept sliding. The floor was extremely wet. Even my hair got wet.

There was a server right next to me, and I asked why there was no sign. He did not even look at me or acknowledge what had happened. He completely ignored me. After a while, another employee who was working near the bar came over and asked if I was okay. By that point, I had already gotten up, but aside from being bruised, it was extremely embarrassing to fall in front of everyone. I told her they should put a sign there, and only then did she go get one.

This situation was not just about mopping while guests were still inside. It was also about the lack of care and response from the server who was right there and chose to ignore what happened. I understand wanting to go home, but being part of the hospitality industry means prioritizing guest safety and experience.

Mopping should be done after all guests have left, and safety signs should always be used. This entire situation could have been avoided.

That is why I am giving this place one star. Food alone is not everything. Service, safety, and basic hospitality matter just as much.

Herban Market is hands down one of Franklin’s best-kept secrets, and it deserves way more recognition! Tucked away from social media like a hidden gem, this spot is a haven for anyone looking for delicious, wholesome food and naturally made products that support a healthy lifestyle. Whether you’re deep into your health and mindfulness era or just looking for a great meal that makes you feel good, this place has something for you.

Their menu is packed with nutritious options that don’t sacrifice flavor, and the variety ensures there’s something for everyone. We ordered the scrambled eggs, avocado toast, and the chicken Caesar wrap—all gluten-free—and let me tell you, every bite was immaculate! The eggs were perfectly fluffy and well-seasoned, the avocado toast had the freshest ingredients with a satisfying crunch, and the chicken Caesar wrap was unbelievably flavorful with tender, well-seasoned chicken wrapped in a soft, gluten-free tortilla.

Beyond the food, their market is a dream—filled with naturally made products that cater to wellness, from organic snacks to skincare and supplements. It’s clear that everything here is thoughtfully curated to promote a balanced, healthy lifestyle.

If you haven’t been to Herban Market yet, you’re missing out! This place deserves all the hype, and I’ll definitely be coming back again and again.

HELP!!! That’s what this place needs in my opinion, some serious help. So sad as we eat here 3 times a week and the food has gone down hill. When we moved here a year and a half ago, first thing we did was look around the restaurant and then at the kitchen staff as that will tell you quite a bit in my experience. It was great and the food was consistent. Fast forward to now, take a look around the kitchen and tell me what you see? What has happened to this place? What country are we eating in? Sorry, but many are saying the same thing. The food quality of how it’s being prepared is dropping fast and when you try and explain to the food runner that some items are missing or the food has an issue, there is now a language barrier. Sorry, I like all good people, but I moved from a place where I’ve been down this road and it never ends well. Here are photos of our latest breakfast with BURNT eggs that were like rubber and some ROTTEN avocados and, I think this is a first, the bacon looked deep fried (never happened before) which takes all the flavor away and it tastes greasy. My wife got her salad 20 minutes after I received my cooked breakfast. The Tinga Tacos used to be one of my favorites, but now it’s hit and miss with being fresh or dried out, and I’m talking about at lunch time. Standards have fallen and I truly feel for the owners as it must be insanely hard to hire good staff nowadays, but something has got to change. The food and consistency should be your NUMBER ONE PRIORITY. Then I’d have almost no issues except for the staff language barrier. LOVE that ingredients are organic and/or healthy. PLEASE don’t mess with that as we’re willing to pay more for healthy food and it’s the primary reason we come here. We are going to new locations to see how they do unfortunately but aren’t quite ready to give up on this place. OWNERS, please understand that we love your ingredients, your concept, and the overall vibe of this place and WANT you to be successful. Maybe charge 1% more on all items and pay for a food checker to make sure everything is prepared correctly before it leaves the kitchen? And hire staff that speak perfect English when they’re running food out to tables. It’s hard, I know, being in the restaurant business. Best wishes to you guys.

This place is the bomb! People with allergies can easily eat here and get their needs met. I enjoyed ordering straight from the menu without having to alter my order to make it gluten free. Chicken salad is my favorite. I love the kombucha on tap and in house coffees/lattes are great. I esp like the all organic food and 100% seed oil free.

Great vibe, family and friends hanging out. This place is a cool & hip so it gets crowded pretty quickly. I tried Sunday brunch at 10:15 AM. The line was about 15 mins wait. By the time 10:35 AM rolls in , the line was hitting the door. This is a self service , ordering at the counter and someone will serve you food using table numbers.
Breakfast tacos was good Huevos was too filling for me. I took my husband here and he likes the flavor. The “Build your own bowl” wasn’t my favorite and there is a review about the portion being small, which is true. You can see it from my photos.
Sides are pricey, I recommend just order straight from the menu for your best flavor and value of the money.
Coffee/ cappuccino were amazing.
Kids meal aren’t jumping out of the world unique but reasonable price. Kids apple sauce is a very healthy version so my boys aren’t the fan. But I like it. I’ll be back for Citric salad with side of eggs.
