What an awesome night out! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with close friends at Herb and Omni and were blown away by the service a food. Joe took care of us and did such an amazing job that he changed our minds from the tasting menu to ordering almost one of everything! The New York steak was unforgettable and we also devoured the foie gras pie, scallop corndog, and bunuelos. We can’t wait to go back. And we learned that we owe a massive congratulations to Chef Earl on his SECOND James Beard Nomination – much deserved!

We spent our Thanksgiving at Herb & Omni in Whitefish, Montana, and it was nothing short of incredible. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, the kind of place that immediately makes you feel at home on a holiday.
The lamb shanks were unbelievably tender and rich with flavor—easily some of the best we’ve ever had. The seared duck was absolutely amazing, cooked to perfection with a depth of taste that truly impressed us. Every dish felt thoughtful, beautifully presented, and made with care.
And the service? Impeccable. A huge thank-you to Ben, who was the perfect waiter—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He made the entire experience even more enjoyable.

The foie gras pie hiking trip memories from the chef. Every bite was a treat and Grace was such a lovely welcome to Whitefish! The entire staff were excellent actually.
Crab cake was delicious as was the duck. The lamb gnocchi was so tender, but just got a tad too salty for me once the gnocchi ran out.

Fabulous first anniversary dinner. Chef Reynolds, Serenity, our server, Joe, Dexton and the rest of the staff were fantastic.

I hosted my birthday celebration at Herb & Omni, and overall it was an absolutely beautiful and memorable experience.
Brandon and Laurie helped me execute what I jokingly called the “death of my 30s,” and they truly delivered on the vision. We hosted a Roast Me Red dinner upstairs in the greenhouse, and the ambiance was genuinely stunning. The space was perfect for an intimate, elevated celebration, and it photographed beautifully.
Everyone was kind, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. The bartender was especially sweet and matched the energy of our group perfectly. It honestly felt like they were having just as much fun as we were. Even the attendants matched the theme, which I’m not sure was intentional or planned, but it was absolutely appreciated and did not go unnoticed.
Now, the food was a bit of a mixed bag. The beet salad tasted exactly like beets with walnuts. Very minimal flavor and a little underdeveloped. Some of the salmon came out raw on the inside, like actually raw, although the pieces that were properly cooked were very good. The tri tip was fine, but not particularly memorable.
That said, the brussels sprouts and the huckleberry bars were phenomenal and easily the standout dishes of the night.
Despite a few food hiccups, the event itself went off without a hitch. The coordination, the space, the staff, and the overall vibe made the night incredibly special. I felt supported throughout the planning process, and my guests had an amazing time, which mattered most to me.
If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with great energy and a team that truly shows up for your event, Herb & Omni is a solid choice. I’m grateful for how smoothly everything came together and for the memories we made there.

We went there for a drink before our dinner. This is the old Casey’s with the rooftop bar. The upstairs isn’t usually open for the winter only May thru October. They had very nice drinks and the bartenders were fabulous.

Incredibly delicious food! Very upscale atmosphere, but there were still folks in there with ball caps and t-shirts so it didn’t feel judgy or pretentious. The chef clearly takes pride in their work!
Definitely prepare to spend some money, especially if you plan on having a drink or two. Worth every penny though!

We had a party of 7 for our dinner here on the Wed nite before Thanksgiving. We sat in the front room with the fireplace. Beautiful ambiance. Staff was attentive, courteous & friendly. Grace, our waitress was xclnt. The food is a bit pricey and not the biggest of servings but the quality was top notch and the presentation was superb.
Another great feature was the finger style guitarist who was playing, solo instrumentalist playing songs you knew all by himself. Not overhwhelming but added wonderfully to the experience. Would totally recommend to anyone visiting the area if looking for a high quality culinary experience.

This was a perfect gem that we discovered on our family trip to Montana. The service was impeccable and the food was sublime! I will be dreaming about all the delectable tastes from cocktails to dessert and everything in between! (And loved our prime corner “owner’s table” spot!)
