Best service experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Big shout out to our server, ALAINA. She made sure to check on us to see if we needed anything, always at the right time. She was very attentive to our needs and responded quickly to them.
The entire wait staff seemed to be working like a well-oiled machine. They always seemed to have the right person, at the right place, at the right time, taking orders, going back to the kitchen, cleaning tables, etc. Super efficiently and friendly!
Food came out quicker than expected. The quesadilla and signature burger were tasty, just wish there were more fries. I’m sad that one TV wasn’t working, though.

I just wanted to leave a positive review for Henry’s as well as our server Delilah. We don’t frequent many restaurants because my kiddos are very chaotic and Delilah handled them with Grace. She was so kind attentive and didn’t skip a beat. She even gave them two quarters at the beginning of our dining experience so they could get a gumball from the machine and she brought a cup of crowns and some coloring pages to try and keep them occupied. It was very refreshing to see someone that didn’t act like families with Littles were A pain in the butt. Henry’s you’ve got yourself an amazing employee, cherish her!

I was driving through Lockhart and Google recommended Henry’s. I now know why. The staff is friendly, prompt, and informative. The food was exactly what I expected from a small town restaurant, DELICIOUS! Trust me, you don’t wanna miss out on this gem. Madison was my server, and she was top notch. From the environment to the service, and from the sweet tea to the fried fish, 10/10 would recommend!!

Texas culture done well. Had breakfast in an old time, country feel atmosphere. Food was country style, priced right, and portions were good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Coffee was kept hot and our cups full. While it was super busy, we got seated right away. We’ll be back for lunch and dinner soon. We hear great things about those meals too.

Our server I believe her name was Amy Jo was such a sweetheart. The food was delicious although ny youngest enchiladas were a bit over seasoned but the rice and beans were delicious to him. We (The Villain aka Ray & I), had a hankering for a hearty breakfast! We wanted to start our day off better than yesterday’s start! (He doesn’t act right when he’s hungry! Truthfully, I don’t either)
I looked up a “Lockhart breakfasts”, and found Henry’s with great ratings, reviews and they served breakfast all day!
Ray aka TV (The Villain) ordered the Meat Lovers Breakfast (see photo) and side of Homemade Biscuits & Gravy! I ordered The Homestyle Breakfast (ONLY $7.29!). The Biscuits are to DIE for! Lite Fluffy Buttermilk biscuits, clearly made from scratch! Bacon was thick and perfectly cooked, home fries and eggs were perfectly cooked the only way, I enjoy them. I took a bite of the biscuits and gravy and about jumped out of my chair, it was sooo good!!!! Gravy made from scratch using sausage drippings and tons of sausage! TV’s breakfast looked good, (I didn’t ask for a bite, I was too busy eating like I had a slit throat!). He demolished his meal (I ain’t lying, I demolished mine too!)
Our server Shannah (not sure how she spells her name), was as sweet as a Fredericksburg Peach!!! She was welcoming, courteous, smiling and efficient! Thank you, Shannah!!!
You can’t beat Henry’s breakfasts and the prices are so inexpensive, you feel like you’re robbing them!
I’ll definitely be back!!!

UPDATE: I found out why my husband wasn’t acting right. Turns out he wants a divorce! Can you imagine, he wants to divorce sweet lil’ ol’ me?!?! Cause’ I’m a HOOT! He must’ve bumped his thick head! Well, I’m glad one of our last meals together was at Henry’s! It’s another good memory to mend my heart. Bless his wicked heart!

I’ve been dining at Henrys since they opened. They have a wide variety of American and Mexican dishes. I’ve never had anything that i didn’t like. Their prices are very reasonable. In my opinion, they have the best chicken fried steak in lockhart.
