We came here with out of town family, a group of 8. The place is dark and we were there when it was light out. I can’t imagine how dark it is after sunset. The place is a little rough around the edges but it is has been an institution in this town for years. Despite the looks, we were cheerfully greeted and served by Sherri G. I got a soda water and never had to ask for a refill, she was on it all night.
3 of the couples got fish and chips to share. Large enough portions there were left overs even with two people eating off each plate. No up charge for sharing. I got the ribeye and added the grilled onion and mushrooms. Very good. I loved the fries. The only thing I didn’t care for was the butter on top. It had something added to it I didn’t care for. Not enough to ruin the meal but I need to remember to ask for it to be removed.

Ate at Henry’s for the first time. Atmosphere and food were amazing. I would have given it a 5 star review, but our service was terrible. Our waitress took our order, we received our food quickly, and she never came back to check on us. We ended up having to go to the bar and getting our own drinks refilled. Other than that, I’m willing to give Henry’s another try sometime soon.

Henry’s is a fantastic spot for anyone craving delicious bar food with generous portions. The menu includes great vegetarian options, making it a welcoming choice for all diets. The staff is exceptionally friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where everyone feels like a local. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual meal or a night out, Henry’s delivers a delightful experience that keeps you coming back for more. Highly recommended!

I do enjoy Henry’s, they have a decent menu and drinks, and in general great seafood. I will say they have become a bit overpriced for the area, especially when it comes to cocktails. Service is usually pretty good. Atmosphere – it hasn’t been updated in years, which some may find charming, but I wouldn’t say it has been well maintained.

Hidden gem! The food menu doesn’t have the most options but I got the fish dinner and it comes with SO MUCH! I went home stuffed with half of my dinner still left. Service was great, very fast, waitress was super friendly. The only bun option they have for the burgers is an onion bun, but they were able to sub it for sourdough bread which was nice.

All of the food served was cold. The waitress and the manager still tried to charge $70 after sending the steak dinner back, after only taking one bite. We still ended up paying $50 for a steak dinner we didn’t eat. I guess you’re lucky if you get a warm meal and good service. If you don’t, you can expect them to be unreasonable and charge you for food you didn’t consume. I’d recommend going to McDonald’s over this place. 50/50 shot at getting a hot meal and if you don’t, at least you didn’t spend an arm and a leg for it.

We stopped at Henry’s Restaurant for dinner and we had a great time. The server was friendly and able to answer questions and make recommendations. The food was hot and made to order. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting and offers plenty of seating. Parking can be a challenge when it is busy, but there is a large lot in the back.

One of my top go-to places for downtown nostalgia. The food is superb. All of it. The drinks are spot on and we’ll priced. Service is always professional. This is where you take someone for a memorable time.

Stopped for drinks after work before going to the Arena Dinner theatre (so we didn’t eat here). All of us liked our drinks. Several people enjoyed trying some new or different beers.
If you haven’t been to Henry’s you are missing out. It’s one of the neatest old bars in town. The “bar” is incredible – see pics!
Our service was very good. The last time we were here was probably 15 years ago and I’d forgotten how wonderful it is! We will be back and try some food next time.
