This laid-back steakhouse can not be beat for the money. Delicious martinis and old fashioned as well. I highly recommend the mango berry martini. For appetizers, we had the deviled eggs and wedge salad, which both were good, especially the salad. Normally, I have the filet when visiting, but this time I took the bartenders advice and tried the 92nd street special. I was pleasantly surprised how flavorful this steak was being the lowest priced option. I added scallops and a crab cake to my entree. The scallops were seared perfectly and melted like butter. This place has become a new favorite of ours and I highly recommend you give them a try.

Very disappointed the fish fry was not even close to what it normally is. Service very slow. Very busy but quality very bad. Potota pancakes were burned over cooked. Fish was over cooked. No rye bread very little no tartar sauce. Coleslaw was in a tartar sauce container. The food was not good for the price. $21.00 for 3 pieces of dry fish and 2 burned potato pancakes no bread no tartar and a little coleslaw is not a deal. I won’t mind paying that much but the food was really bad

Decided to give them a second try. Our first experience included an inedible fish fry, mediocre drinks and very slow service. After seeing recent reviews , we decided to see if it improved. Unfortunately, it hasn’t. The old fashioned was not good. Too much simple syrup and not enough bitters. We ordered filets. One came out overcooked and another was undercooked, and the one roll served with each steak was ice cold.We could not send them back as the server never returned. It was her first shift there as she normally works at their other bar location. The main complaint is the nickel and diming. There is an up charge for any type of potato instead of fries. I ordered a baked potato and my husband had lyonnaise potatoes for an extra $3. The server asked if I wanted butter and sour cream. I said yes. When we received the bill, I was charged 50 cents extra for each. It is not about the $1 but what steak house charges extra for butter and sour cream in a baked potato?

Rarely post reviews but this was worth it. Little long on the wait but the steak was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and reasonably priced. Great potato too. Waitress was very kind. Definitely will be back.

It’s a small place. Nice size bar. Dining room about 12 tables. I had the 92nd street steak and my husband had the baked fish. Both very good. Steak done medium, husband’s fish flaky.

2nd time there for a birthday dinner. Cassie made an excellent Cosmo. Decided to get ribs, my sister had 6 ounce filet. Our server was great but I took one bite of the ribs and they were so salty ,I had to send them back. My sisters meal was delicious. They did remove the ribs from the bill. I will go back and stick with a steak, the beef tips and mushrooms last visit were great.
