Food was amazing, as many times as I have ate there. Never one piece of egg shell in my eggs, an incredible experience, the liver mush was just like how my great grandma made it. Highly recommend this place.

I have always given this place big stars. However I had to calm that down due to customer service issues. I think a lot of the waitresses here like everywhere else in America are overworked. I also think it is hard to get new blood to create more customer friendly totally service driven waitresses. I know this is going on throughout the country but it can kill a restaurant. I think overall the food here is awesome. I think I will have to stay away giving any of my three C’s of great dining experience for this location right now. Yes they are cleanliness, cost-effectiveness, and awesome customer service. I will give this place a while to cool off from negative vibes from waitresses that I’ve done nothing too. I think they have listened to bad rumors from drunks running their second hand knowledge. I think most people listen to gossip and none of it’s true. I could be a great loyal customer but not where I’m not wanted. I know getting great customer service driven waitresses is a problem throughout the nation right now. May God bless America during this terrible time in American history.

I’ve eaten here many times with family members that live in Salisbury. I love this place and the food is always very good and reasonably priced. This trip it was me and a family member that are not local. The waitress seemed very exasperated that we asked questions regarding the menu, it’s unfortunate, that was her demeanor. I’m sorry that we asked questions Ms. Server, but we just wanted to make sure of what we were ordering. Anytime I’m in Salisbury I eat here and will again, but I think management needs to know the older servers are not very friendly.

Waitress Never Came Back To Ask If We Needed More Tea, Water Or Anything. Only Brought One Silverware, We Had To Flag Down Another Waitress For The Fork, Flag Down Another Waitress For Vinegar, Flag Our Waitress To Tell Her We Didn’t Get Our Hushpuppies. She Disappeared And Wasn’t Very Friendly. I Walk With A Cane And The Floor Had Dropped FOOD, Napkins And Spilled Water And Tea ALL to Over It. A Table Of 4 Or 5 Elderly People Had To Ask Our Waitress To Mop Up Water Before They Could Sit Down. Yes It Was Busy, But, If Someone FALLS On FOOD Or Water On The Floor You’re Looking At A LAWSUIT. FOOD Is Always GOOD!

Barbecue was very good, as were the hush puppies. Had the red slaw which was also good. They have a big menu including salads and vegetable plates. Breakfast is served until 2 pm. The tea is very sweet. Service was great and we had a pretty large group.

We have been here several times but this will be the last. It took 45 minutes to get our food, even when tables that came in after us had already gotten their food, including the fact that the owner came in well after our table and had their food well before we got ours. My plate had been fried to the point that it was inedible my husbands hot dog was cold and when he complained all they did was scrap the chili off and put warm chili back on it but the bun and hot dog itself was still cold. I never got my slaw with my plate. They never even offered to give us anything off of the check the only thing that was offered was if my husband did not want another hot dog they would take it off the check. I would understand if they were incredibly busy but they were not on this occasion. The waitress did apologize but like I said no real offer to make things right or to make a customer happy. I hope they improve but I will not be back.
