Awesome take outish Nashville hot chicken. This has to be one of the crunchiest and best servings one I had in Buffalo to date. Sandwich was awesome. How to brioche roll with pickles just made it. I got the chicken hot which was a perfect sweet and hot combination for any fried Chicken lover. Definitely check them out. There are hidden gem on the quiet end of hertel past Elmwood

Hen House is one of the most consistent spots in Buffalo. And, in my opinion, consistency is everything when it comes to restaurants. Every time I’ve been, the food has been spot on. The Hot Hen is always solid, juicy and crunchy. Still crunchy even if I order from DoorDash, and that’s just wild. Sandwich is also massive. Splittable if you have someone who loves you that you’d share with.

I don’t know what to eat! I have gotten the chix-in-a-blanket, loaded fried onion rings, ohh yeah, and loaded Mac and cheese. If you like spicy, great place; if you like hot, great place; if you like low heat, also a cool spot. I’ll tell you why the chicken crossed the road: to get to Hen House. The food is fantastic. Oh, they have their own sauce called Hen Sauce, so delicious.

20 out of 10 highly recommended!! Step away from buffalo style chicken for a moment, and indulge in some Nashville heat!! The “Hot Hen” chicken sandwich did not disappoint, And when they say “hot” they aren’t kidding! I will be back for more!

Fancy tables and decor? Wrong place
Great food? Oh yeah… really good food.
It’s not cheap but my $16 special for lunch included 3 HUGE chicken tenders, a nice portion of fries and a drink. I’m not a pickle guy but there was generous portion. There was enough food that I couldn’t finish.
The tenders were very meaty and the hot sauce had a nice flavor. Fries were lightly seasoned crinkle cuts and the portion size was good.
Overall, I’ll make this a regular stop for me.

We came here on recommendation by a few friends and were not disappointed. Our to-go sandwiches and chicken tenders were delicious! The serving sizes were huge. The chicken was fresh, flavorful, and hot. The fries were great, too. We’ll definitely be back again soon.

Been a big pain at this place for a while, but I hadn’t been to their actual restaurant location, just the food truck up to this point.
Went for lunch with a friend and it was just as delicious as I remember it. Instead of my usual sandwich I opted for the chicken over fries this time around which came with the same delicious flavorful chicken to whatever heat temperature you like, but piled on top of a mountain of fries.
everything tasted great and it had a delicious soft drizzle on top as well.
With the hot chicken craze that still sweeping the region, I have to say this is probably my favorite one in the Buffalo area.

Came here based on Reddits suggestion since there’s no Raising Cane’s in Buffalo.
You basically order and pay at the front and you can either take the order to go or dine in. There’s plenty of seats available and there was cartoon playing in the background.
We ordered the big tender box ($37) which consists of 10 tenders, 6 dips, fries, pickles and coleslaw. There were also 4 slices of bread on the bottom of the tenders.
Customer service was pretty good, the cashier was pretty friendly.
For the tenders we got half mild and half medium. The medium tasted better than mild and wasn’t spicy in my opinion. The tenders are chicken breast (white meat) and it was pretty thick. I found eating two tenders was enough for me.
The sauces are pretty standard! We got honey mustard, bbq, ranch and the hens special (similar to the chick fil a sauce). I think bbq is the best.
The coleslaw was creamy and the pickles are what you can expect.
Overall, this is a nice spot to visit!
Portion is pretty good for the price! But I’d get medium or even spicy next time!

Super delicious Nashville hot chicken in Buffalo. The chicken was hot, crispy and juicy. The staffs were kind and made sure that we liked the food. I would highly recommend this place over Dave’s hot chicken. If you come here, you will for sure leave satisfied.
