Food was delicious, healthy portions but our server acted like she didn’t care whether she did a good job or not. Told one of our group when she asked for refill “you still have some in your glass” We found this to be rather unacceptable. Never got the refill and neither did one other in our group who had asked for more tea. She made what could have been a very enjoyable family outing a negative experience. We think she needs some coaching/attitude adjustment. Her tip reflected our displeasure, sorry to say

A local favorite for lunch and dinner. Reliable Italian food, with a few American and middle eastern dishes thrown in for variety. Fair prices and good service. The owners are a real part of Rocky Mount, sponsoring sports teams, donating food for events and randomly bringing a great food to offices as a “thank you”. We are better with Hema’s and Hema’s is better if you dine there…so try the Stromboli or the Hema’s Salad.

Since moving closer to Rocky Mount, my wife and I have had several meals at Hema’s, both take out and dine in. They are awesome! Truly upscale food and service without the price tag that comes with it.

2nd time getting food from here. The Stromboli’s are amazing. Chicken dishes are very tasty too. Pizza? You guessed it. Delicious. Great food at reasonable prices. Definitely a favorite restaurant for our household. The building is a bit dated, but who cares? The food is always hot and tastes great. Order from here and enjoy!
