We are specialized in delicacies straight from Austria and surrounding areas. We make sure to provide our patrons with an excellent dining experience in our tastefully decorated Stube. Stube is the place where you can enjoy our well-known Austrian Gemütlichkeit, which is easy to explain. Just think of good food, good company, a drink or two and plenty of time to enjoy it all!!. Dinner … Great food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff; excellent service. The lamb shank was nicely done and was delicious. The schnitzel was perfectly done and the red wine mushroom sauce was tasty. The black forest cake was a tad dry, but it was still delectable because of the cherries filling. Very clean environment; comfortable dining room.

Food and service are amazing obviously but that really doesn’t capture how satisfied you feel after. Sautéed prawns to start (very good) followed by main courses. The salmon and prawns were my favorite, but you really cant go wrong here. For dessert we had the homemade apple strudel and crepes.
Everything is cooked perfectly and super well seasoned/ balanced. Definitely call ahead as it is very popular! Wish i tipped more and remembered our server’s name, as this is now one of my favorite restaurants.

This is a special restaurant! If you’re in a hurry, don’t bother! The cook is the owner and he creates magic from the moment you sit down. The meals are all hand crafted and made to order! Including the soups and salads all the way through the desserts. Great food takes time and while you’re there, you can chat up the servers, get to know the owners and have one of the best meals of your life. It is best to make reservations as it’s always busy, especially on weekends during the summer. We don’t even need a menu… we always have “The Special!” Plus, the garlic soup is superb! Don’t skip out on this jewel of the valley. When in Radium, you must run to HS! Thanks for the many amazing meals and conversations we have had over the years!

I had a wonderful dining experience at Helna’s Stube! I ordered the Rack of Lamb, Kärntner Kasnudel, and the dessert Mohr im Hemd — every dish was bursting with authentic flavor and beautifully prepared.
The food was rich, comforting, and truly reflective of Austrian cuisine. The Rack of Lamb was perfectly cooked, the Kasnudel was a unique and hearty treat, and the Mohr im Hemd was the perfect sweet finish.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for genuine European flavors and warm hospitality. A gem of a place!

We tried three Austrian/German restaurants in the area and I found the best schnitzel here. The bread is crispy, not greasy, the veal is soft, the portion is just perfect. We received professional service from the staff.
The washroom was cold.

We ordered a seafood which was made with jumbo prawns silvers of salmon, white wine lemon cream, Parsley Potatoes and mixed vegetables! this was so delish!

My options were open for cocktails and Caesar cocktail was recommended for me so I ordered, but it wasn’t until I had a drink and I realized I didn’t like it!yes guilty as charged but I had to order another drink which was served immediately with no questions. I loved it!
The waiter was very polite and patient with me!
The atmosphere was very pleasant and for that reason I would always have a meal there anytime I’m down in Radium!

Went here in recommendation of the place we stayed at (Inn on Canyon) and we were very happy we did.
The location has a nice large sign outside and there is plenty of parking available as well.
When we went they did not have physical menus to hand out but they did have one posted before the main entrance and have it posted online as well.
We ordered the Mushroom Schnitzel (pork with mushroom sauce) and the rack of lamb. While I’ve never had schnitzel before I really enjoyed it. Serving was very generous as well although I must admit the vegetables served with it were not that inspiring. The rack of lamb was nothing short of amazing though. So succulent and flavorful. The Swiss potatoes were also very good and the vegetables were again ok. But darn if that wasn’t the best rack of lamb I’ve ever had.
We shared a dessert that I can’t recall the name of but it was chocolate and awesome.
Total for 2 entree and a dessert was about 90 CAD before tip, I consider that very reasonable for the level of service and food we received.

Family owned and operated. Dad’s the chef, Mom manages the floor and pounds the schnitzel, and, if she’s not at university, daughter may be your table server. Mushroom schnitzel and rack of lamb were superb. If you like Austrian food, have never tried it, or tried it and weren’t enthusiastic about it (like me), try Helna’s. We thought it was among the best meals we’ve ever had.

A must stop when in Radium Hot Springs. I have been going to this restaurant for 24 years and still my favorite place to eat. The food is amazing and the staff are awesome. First restaurant I have been to that I asked the chef to come to my table so I could shake his hand.

Randomly stopped in! The food and service were absolutely amazing! My fiance’s family is Austrian so he was extremely excited for me to try some of the dishes. We will definitely return next time we are in town! It was perfect for a date, but also great for a few beers and groups! 10/10!
