Stepped out to eat some lunch while visiting my Mom in the ICU and had a hankering for some fried chicken tenders. Ordered the Combo #3 (6 tenders, fries, waffle, coleslaw and a drink). The heat level you choose correlates to how much powdered cayenne pepper they put on the chicken. Sauces are unique and tasty and come on the side for dipping. The chicken itself was nicely fried, light and crispy. The waffles were more on the soggy side, but the fries were hot, crispy and delicious.

I don’t normally make reviews but my food was just so terrible. I ordered a number 5 combo which was 4 wings with fries, waffle, and drink. The wings looked like they were cooked from frozen and then reheated. The bones inside were brown and the meat was not edible. I was so disappointed and could not eat them. I don’t think I will ever eat there again.

It could have been a great dining experience, but the chicken wings were old beneath the crust, the fries were old/cold and if that’s addressed I’d reorder. The pricing wasn’t a factor and the waffle was delicious and fresh.

First off customer service is A1 please don’t change. The food is good..wings could be cooked a minute or two longer. Today my wings were not that done…not posting photos of that. It wasn’t a deal breaker for me tho, I just came home and dropped them in the grease a little longer. The flavor of the chicken is spot on! As for the fried Mac N Cheese, it’s a NO for me and my daughter. The Mac N cheese was bland it tasted like Kraft Mac N Cheese out the box. Not at all what we expected for $4. The curly fries are better than Arby’s. The chicken sandwich is tenders on a bun with lettuce and pickles. It’s good, I’ll minus the lettuce next time because it was a little to wilted for my liking. Overall….I think Hell’s Chicken can have longevity here in Cleveland Ohio. I will definitely be back, I’ll just ask for my chicken to be cooked a little longer going forward. If they accommodate my request they’ll have a customer for life.

I enjoyed a great lunch at Hell’s Fried Chicken. The tenders are crunchy and scrumptious. They have curly fries that are great tasting. The interior decor is noteworthy as well. I enjoyed the #2 combo, 3 tenders with bread fries and a drink, with the Korean BBQ sauce on the side. Short wait time. Definitely will return again

The first time I went there I just get the combo 4 (Sandwich), it was the perfect size for me since I eat alot! ^-^ the sandwich wasn’t greasy or too messy to hold. Not only that but I LOVE the whole wings Combo!!!! the meal is more than enough for 1 person. Especially Combo 3 which has 6 tenders with 2 sauces, the biggest combo meal on the menu where you can share with 2 people! it’s perfectly fried and not too much breading either. Finally there’s a new combo 7 meal where you get 2 chicken wraps that’s enough for 2 people. They always have fresh tortilla’s and salad to make the wrap.

Horrible. DONT EAT HERE. Ordered on GrubHub because my son is in the hospital and I didn’t want to leave him. Quickest Grubhub delivery ever. The chicken was super old, brown on the inside, and tough. The curly fries were absolutely cold. And we didn’t get toast as we were supposed to we got soggy waffles. Huh???? I called the restaurant and they told me everything was made fresh. LIES. No refund and excuses given. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Hell’s Fried Chicken is aptly named, since eating here felt like divine punishment. The first thing I saw when I opened up my little cardboard box of horrors was their “toast”, which is a hot dog bun. No joke- it is a literal greasy hot dog bun. It tasted like oily packing foam, and my body did not recognize it as food. The coleslaw was a soup of rancid mayonnaise which instantly activates the gag reflex. The chicken tenders were a good size and hot, but flavorless and 40% oil by weight. If you wrung them out like a dish rag you’d probably have enough oil to fry another batch. The garlic-Parmesan dipping sauce was an acrid concoction consisting of an obscene amount of garlic mashed in butter. The curly fries were the least offensive offering, but they too were desperately in need of seasoning. Iced tea tasted how mop water smells. Overall, it’s rare that a restaurant manages to execute every aspect of a meal poorly, but Hell’s does so with gusto.
As an aside, this place was packed with college students. This troubles me. Did they choose the worst restaurant in University Circle as an ironic meeting place? Are they under duress? If anyone knows, please tell me.

Waited over a year for this to open and it did not disappoint! Generous amounts of food and stayed warm + crispy to bring home. Went with the original sauce, but would recommend going spicier as it has little-to-no spice to it for a Korean flavor (more of a creamy, sweet sauce). Unique ambience and will definitely be back.
