Tucked into a Scottsdale strip mall, this spot delivers far more than you’d expect from its modest footprint. It’s clean, comfortable, and casual — not the kind of place you’d book a reservation for, but exactly the kind of place you’ll end up returning to regularly.
We all ordered pho, and it was outstanding — easily the best I’ve had in a long time. The broth had real depth, the portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and balanced. Prices run around $14–$20 per bowl, which feels completely fair for the quality.
They also have a surprisingly solid beer lineup — both the usual domestic bottles and a few Asian imports like Singha, Sapporo, and Tsingtao. And for bonus points, they’ve got those little delivery robots bringing your food straight to the table — efficient, a little futuristic, and undeniably fun.
If you’re looking for great pho in a clean, low-key setting that runs like a well-oiled machine, this place is a clear operational win.

The assortment of food is great! From the wings to the oxtail spicy soup. They even have all sorts of boba drinks. The quality is very good on all items I had. Even the beef chow fun was excellent. The fried rice was very tasty and the pho was solid pho. Can’t go wrong with this spot!

Being new to Vietnamese food I was excited to try this place out. Unfortunately I was disappointed by the lack of flavor in the Spring rolls here. The rice paper was tough and the meat was cold and tasted bland. I was excited to try pho for the first time and was let down at the lack of flavor once again. Great for the portion sizes, actually a huge amount but really a miss on the flavor. I had Rice Paper on Shea weeks earlier and can clearly see I was spoiled by them and their great flavors there. I wanted to like Hello Vietnam but aside from the kind server lady and the cool robot that brings the food around I wasn’t impressed. I would not choose to eat here again.

My family and I have been coming here for years. The food is always fresh and delicious. You actually feel good and rejuvenated after eating anything on the menu, the way true food is supposed to make you feel! Healthy! You also will always feel welcome by the friendly owner and wonderful cooks that have worked there for years.
Btw. Great place for authentic Vietnamese sandwiches! Perfect lunch that once again won’t put you in a food coma. I promise this will be your favorite place also. If you love tasty food and care about healthy quality ingredients then go and enjoy!

We visited Hello Vietnam Pho & Roll for the first time at the Shea Blvd location on a Saturday night. It was eerily quiet for a Saturday evening. This is definitely the nicest Vietnamese restaurant I have ever been to! It is clean, spacious, modern, and inviting. I was really amazed at the robot that carry the food to the tables. Service is friendly and prompt. We had a few appetizers, and they were delicious; we had wings and eggrolls. I really liked the variety of drinks on the menu that are not typically offered at other Asian restaurants. Unfortunately, our entrees were just alright…the taste was kind of bland and I couldn’t eat it all. The main entrees were disappointing. I would try Hello Vietnam Pho & Roll again, perhaps at a different location.

I don’t know what is going on here but this is the best fried rice I have ever had. It’s unbelievable. I will now be getting fried rice and fresh rolls from this place on a weekly basis. Couldn’t tell you why they have a review below 5 stars

TIPPING IS NOT MANDATORY WHEN CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. They use robots which is cool and all but I am not tipping a robot, as walking out and not tipping the robot the lady was so beyond rude about not tipping. Not knowing I don’t mind tipping a PERSON, for WORKING she told me next time I want to eat, order to go. SO RUDE. I love pho and this is a place I would eat at literally everyday but the customer service I endured is disgusting. Now after coming back after a few days she says “you don’t want to order to go? I’m working today” like what????? How do you even get business with customer service like that? You will be tipped based on your customer service and work ethic. This lady is making the company lose money forsure!

The food was alright. Not as authentic as you’d expect. This time we tried the Banh mi and although it was tasty the meats were extremely dry and the sauce inside was a type of mayo. A for effort there. The spring rolls were hard at the ends telling me they’ve been sitting a while. The shrimp and beef inside only stretched across a part of the spring roll and not the whole thing which was dossappointing.
It’s CASH ONLY. They should at least tell you that ahead of time or put a sign up. No ATMs nearby.

One of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever been to. Very fragrant and delicious food with large portions. Everything is made fresh. Plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options including fresh rolls and pho

It wasn’t anything extraordinary. The servers were very kind but even the rolls weren’t that great but the Vietnamese coffee was good.
