Hello Tokyo

Had a quick lunch here with my daughter on a Sunday at lunchtime and we were seated immediately. Off to a good start….the wait staff are all young men and while our server was attentive–he seemed a bit aloof and soft-spoken. He wasn’t very personable and seemed a little cold. And speaking of COLD! – It was a cool day (upper 50’s – low 60’s outside), but the A/C was blasting in the dining room! Most of the patrons (per my observation) left their coats and jackets on during their meals–myself included. It was as cold inside as it was outside and I hate having a meal with my jacket/coat on. The sushi rolls that I ordered were very small – I understand they were the lunch sized rolls, but a bit too small. Otherwise, they were good.
My daughter got the teriyaki steak and it was unseasoned and terribly bland. Teriyaki is supposed to be a BOLD flavor and they missed the mark. The food came out quickly, the clear soup was good….Dumpling app was delicious and the prices are reasonable. Get personalities for your servers and adjust the thermostat on cooler days and I’ll come back.

I stumbled upon this place because I was staying at a hotel down the road. I was working at a turnaround nearby and after work I was looking for a place to have a good meal. Little did I know entering this place I would not only find a good meal but I would also find great friends as well. The staff of young men and women greeted me with a friendly smile and great attitude as soon as I walked in and Jane was very kind polite and very friendly. Instantly I felt like I was an old friend returning back home hanging out at the local restaurant. The food was amazing and the portions were very filling enough to have left overs for the next day, but I left none for the next day. lol. The salmon is so good that my 11 year old daughter loved it. The vegetables are always cooked to perfection and the ribeye steak is very very good. So if you’re looking for great food and a family friendly atmosphere this is the place. And tell them Michael sent you.

Ate during lunch. Was a pleasant atmosphere and the service was prompt and courteous. I went with steak and chicken, because I didn’t feel like fish today. The fried rice was nice and I enjoyed the stiry fry medley. The steak was very flavourful and the chicken was, as well. I think the portion I got for the price was fair, although I feel like more veggies and more chicken would have been appropriate. I heard the chef service live at the grill and it sounded like a fun time. If you have trouble with salt, I recommend asking for a reduced amount. As there was a healthy amount present! This would make for a nice date spot or treat for an occasion.

Bathrooms are adequate.

Amazing Amazing Amazing- I can’t say enough great things about our service tonight! We waited to be seated but it seemed like timing (christmas eve at 6:30). Regardless the hostess seated us as soon as we arrived, and got our drinks in. The waiter exceptional on service, order accuracy and was appropriately unobtrusive with his service(which I adorded having waited tables myself and was genuinely looking forward to spending time with our stepchildren) Thank you!!! The food was off the charts!!!! Amazing tuna, TNT roll, cucumber and snowcrab were phenomenal!!! Must try!

The people at the front greet you with a smile and have great customer service but, the food does not taste good to me I had the rice hibachi special with the steak. The clear soup is the best thing they had to offer first and last time coming there and the guy forgot to give me my utensils. However, if I knew the food was not going to taste good, there was no need to give me utensils anyway. A waste

Service from the employees was very good, but the food was very disappointing for somebody that loves eating sushi never ever have I ever experienced a sushi spot that uses regular lettuce for sushi
The employees were nice. That’s the only reason why I didn’t go back in the establishment asked for my money back.

the cook was absolutely dry, only gave me barley any rice. Worst experience with hibachi ever. Don’t know his name but should be told how to cook hibachi the right way if thats how he service is normally. Had no energy or anything ar all. 0/10 experience.

Hello Tokyo restaurant offers excellent and thorough service! My server was amazing! I really appreciated her suggestions. The sushi pricing was comparable to other local restaurants. The available lunch specials help with affordability. Come with an appetite or leave with lots of leftovers. Even the lunch special offers a full plate. I haven’t tried the hibachi, but I hear it is flavorful. There was comfortable and interesting decor during my visit. I found the lovely light display to be romantic, even during the day. Lots of open seating offered a few moments of private conversation. Full bar.

Jane is the worst manager there and still don’t know how she is still at that restaurant. My order was messed up and I called to say something and she had a disgusting and inappropriate attitude with me. Do not accept a manager position if you’re going to have problems with customer service and then laugh when I’m upset about it. Ask your co-workers if they made a mistake rather than make me feel stupid and like I don’t know what I’m ordering when I’m the one ordering it. Will never order from here again and hope she’s replaced.
