Reviews
The food was delicious. We shared the porterhouse steak, which was cooked to perfection, and enjoyed all of the sides – fries, salad, potatoes, and peppers. To top off an already indulgent evening, we got the trio of desserts platter and an Irish coffee which was an absolutely perfect cherry on top.
Cannot recommend this place enough. The staff’s kindness alone is reason enough to go.
Valentines dinner took us to Hellfire steak restaurant in Temple Bar this year and it did not disappoint.
Location
Hellfire is location in Temple Bar on Westmoreland Street. Such a convenient location from trains, buses and Luas. The venue looks lovely inside and out. Three stories with a dark but cozy vibe on the inside and a nice seating area. Toilets are located on the lower floor and were extremely clean.
Booking
We booked a table for 2 people online two days before we dined. We did not dine on Valentine’s Day and chose a different day that’s a lot quieter to this place.
Staff
All of the staff we dealt with, unfortunately I have no names were all excellent and welcoming. Service was extremely efficient and there were no long wait times for anything during our dining experience.
Food and Drink
We ordered a bottle of French Sauvignon Blanc and it was lovely and relatively priced. It was €36. We ordered the Porterhouse sharing steak. This was €99. This included the steak, fries, mashed potatoes, a side salad and two sauces. We ordered it medium – well. It was definitely more on the medium side but that was fine for us personally. The portions were decently sized. We have definitely had bigger sharing steaks but it was still a nice meal. We thought it was definitely one of the better steaks we have had. For desert we both ordered the Chocolate Dulche de Leche cake which was €10.50 each. We both said this was once of the best cakes we’ve had.
Overall we had an excellent experience while dining here and cannot fault it. Will be back.
✨Suite Dream Only✨
The food was amazing. The bread with BBQ & whiskey butter was a standout , absolutely delicious , and the burrata salad was on another level, truly out of this world.
The atmosphere is perfect: cozy, beautiful, and super inviting. The whole staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, but I really have to highlight Angelo, whose service made the night unforgettable.
Highly recommend!
The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented. The service was quick, attentive, and pleasantly unobtrusive. A special thank-you to our waitress Andreea, she was incredibly friendly, warm, and truly made our evening.
The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and we felt comfortable from the moment we walked in.
We’ll definitely be coming back! A clear five-star recommendation!
She was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the evening. Her recommendations were spot on, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to come across someone who combines professionalism with such a friendly and caring approach.
Andreea truly elevated our dining experience – she’s the best! We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be looking out for her next time.
