From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family. Our server, Hayley, was so attentive and kind – she guided us through the menu with great recommendations. The owners even checked on us multiple times, which made the experience feel genuinely warm and personal.

We started with the Saganaki, which came out sizzling and golden, perfectly melty and rich. The Keftedes were tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice, and the spicy feta dip had the perfect creamy-kick balance that kept us reaching for more pita. The Village Salad was fresh and vibrant – the perfect way to balance the meal.

For entrées, the Lamb Chops were beautifully grilled, juicy, and seasoned to perfection, while the Lavraki (branzino) was light, flaky, and absolutely delicious. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, showcasing the kind of authentic Greek flavors you can tell come from a family who loves what they do.

I love Hellenic Greek Kitchen. Today was the third time I come here, and the food and service were as good as the previous times.

This restaurant is located on South End, one of the hottest areas in Charlotte. It is centrally located with other business around within walking distance. There are paid and affordable street parking spots nearby.

The menu offers a good variety of options. In addition to the regular menu, they offer a lunch menu with two combo options. That is exactly what I went for today. I got the Spicy Dip & Pita and the Chicken Pita. I also got an Arold Palmer to drink. Everything was delicious! I mean, it was really delicious.

The price was pretty affordable, the service was professional and friendly, all common areas, including the restrooms, were clean.

Overall, 100% recommended and can’t wait to come back!

Came on recommendation of a friend and was a little disappointed. Arrived 30 minutes after opening and was told no lemon potatoes, which was what 3 of the 4 of us had planned due to the recommendation. Lemon chicken was crunchy outside making inside tough. Other entrees included Mediterranean bowl, souvla, and kabob. All were as expected. Online menu has great descriptions & photos. Vegetarian/vegan options available. Will try restaurant again – good ambience & friendly staff.

The food was fab.
As a person of Greek heritage, I will say all the food was superb. Dolmades, sauteed veggies, Greek salad, eggplant dip, zesty orange cake. All tasted fresh and homemade. The only item that was nowhere near my mom”s Greek cooking was lemon.potatoes. My mom baked them while roasting lamb and they were moist. buttery and lemoney. Ghe ones they serbed sere almost like a fried potato wedge. Our waiter Zach went above and beyond even creating a hot chocolate drink for me because they no longer had hot chocolate on the menu. He antocipated pir needs even before we had a cjanve tp ask. We also loved the thick glass bottles on the table w cool water.no need for ice cubes. The place was decorated in seablue mediteranean colors and I loved how the bar counter was underlit with blue light. Simple but pleasing ambiance. Check it out.

Oh my gahh! My sister and I came here and as usual, when I’m with her, we ordered (at least) 5 different menu items because she likes to taste. When I tell you every single item was delicious and so fresh…a rarity in Charlotte as far as I’m concerned. We both loved every bite. And Erin was an amazing server. Definitely going back! Pictures don’t even do it justice.

We randomly checked out Hellenic Greek last Sunday and it was so good! The staff were all do kind, I loved the ambiance & location (South End) and the food was so good! I had actually eaten a big meal earlier in the day, so I just had the pita/hummus and wine, but I also shared the grape leaves with my husband and he had some pasta. Everything I ate was delicious and tasted so fresh. I can’t wait to go back and try their desserts.

Bonus: We come from concord and have two younger kids, so eating in south end is typically annoying with parking, but this one had free parking just behind the restaurant, and was a few steps from the rail trail.

An absolute GEM! Visited on a Friday at 12pm with coworkers and we were BLOWN away! Firstly, the hostess and waitress were very friendly and efficient. Our waitress gave great recommendations. Nice cute Greek kitchen located in South End. The food was phenomenal! We started off with the Geeek fries. They were crispped to perfection and seasoned perfectly with Feta. If your not a feta person I would not recommend the Greek fries. Next we sampled the Taziki, hummus and spicy feta. DELICIOUS! It came with a selection of cucumbers and pita bread. Our favorites were the hummus and taziki. It was all very tasteful. I ordered the Mediterranean bowl. I switched the arugula with romaine lettuce and added the quinoa. It was very delicious. Very fresh and I did not even need to add the dressing to it. It was not dry at all and the added chicken blended everything together! Such a great restaurant and I recommend it. I will definitely be returning to try other things on their menu. Also, they do have free 2 hour parking located in their back parking garage.

Bess was a wonderful waitress, and her brother in law is the owner, Payton, got to meet him. Delicious food, huge portion on the pork pita. Don’t skip the beans, and baklava was amazing!

Family run, opened in 2023 coming up on 3 year anniversary!

I treated myself to a solo early dinner on a Saturday and had a great time! I was sat at the bar and the bartender was extremely kind! I ordered: spiced apple tea and added the Carolina spiced rum to it (this is a hot drink), the pesto couscous and chicken, and baklava for dessert! Everything was delicious and filling, without leaving you comatose. They were moderately busy, but I really liked it. I’ll definitely be back to try some other things out!

P.S – I didn’t get ice cream with my baklava but I would recommend it. The baklava is really really sweet, and I think the ice cream would help cut through that taste

P.S.S – according to my receipt, my bartender’s name was Erin, and she was great!

Food was delish. Service was alright. We were one of the only tables and it did take forever before we were greeted once we were sat. I would recommend coming here for sure.
