Thank you for the delicious pierogi — we really enjoyed them! However, we were a bit surprised that they were served simply in a bag. It would be much nicer if they were served in some kind of disposable dishware or a proper container. We hope you’ll consider this in the future, because the taste was great, but the presentation could be more convenient.

Stopped in Friday and ended up getting a dozen potatoe and cheddar and a dozen cheddar onion. Both are fantastic best pierigois I’ve ever had! The woman behind the counter was very friendly and i would definitely stop back for more next time im in the area. Try to get there early if you want them fresh. Growing up in a Polish family and having my Grandmother’s home made perogies at Christmas time is a childhood memory I try to recapture every year. My Grandmother has passed and I am constantly on the hunt for pierogi that are just like hers. Helena’s is as close as I can get. They are made with love, by hand and with care. You meet Helena’s mom working the counter and feel the genuine and heartfelt concern, not only for the food they make but for you their customer. I make a trip, over an hour, at least twice a year and load up on the best tasting pierogi in and around the Hudson valley. If you like pierogi, it’s a must try.

We were staying at the RV campground and this place came highly recommended. I stopped in and got some pierogies and took them home. My Ukrainian/Polish wife loved them and we had to go back the same day and get more! Highly recommend!

Heard from other places that this was a must-stop for pierogies. With this gorgeous weather, we made the 1.5 hour road trip, saw some sights, and grabbed some horseradish as well as cheddar bacon pierogies. When we came home, I sautéed them in butter and added some peas, onions, garlic and sour cream. Traditional dinner is an understatement – these are amazing and a must have. Very filling, tasty, and you won’t stop smiling. A wonderful family dinner made lovingly by the woman that sold them to us. Can’t wait to go back❤️
