Helberg Barbecue–A Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ Joint–has expanded to downtown Waco with a food trailer parked outside Barnett’s Whiskey House. Serving the same award-winning, meat market-style bbq and sides during lunch hours, locals and visitors alike can experience traditional Central Texas style bbq in the heart of downtown while enjoying the most extensive whiskey collection in the state. For dinner hours, the trailer turns out bbq-centric pub fare such as smoked-fried wings and inventive sandwiches using Helberg’s famous smoked meats.
