Heidleburger was RIGHT across from Icicle Village, where we were staying so we tried it out. It DID NOT DISAPPOINT! In the outskirt of downtown Leavenworth, this burger joint is so fantastic! I ordered take out: one double Heli bacon burger for my husband and I to split, and a side of deep fried mushrooms and onion rings. Husband was so impressed, that he wanted me to go back a few hours later for dinner and order an entire burger for him! Patties were great quality with all the fixings. Customer service was stellar! They also have a covered area to eat, complete with misters (for the summer) and heaters (for the winter). Reasonably priced for a tourist town! Busy, but only waited about 20 min each time for our orders. So freshly made and hot upon arrival. Definitely will be back again!

My family ate at HeidleBurger Drive In on our way out of Leavenworth on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025. I usually write detailed, lengthy Google Reviews, but I feel like I can make this one pretty short. HeidleBurger is very average. The burgers aren’t incredible but they are decent. They will do the trick of providing you with nourishment. Prices are probably about right for a location in the middle of a tourist hot spot. They do have kids meals which we ordered for my children (8 y.o. and 5 y.o.). We did plan to eat outside at the picnic tables but the flies were too overwhelming so we ate in our car. Bottom line: this place is solid if you want a quick serving of burgers and fries but don’t expect anything gourmet.

Good veggie burgers. Not just a bean patty on a bun. Mix it up with soutwest toppings and sauces. Great fries, thin but not too thin, generous portion, all the greasy fry goodness. Milk shake was good too.

Went up to the window had a really nice guy who was really well mannered and super friendly. I didn’t think my mom tipped him enough so when we made a deal if we get the food in under 5 minutes then we will give him more we got it in 3 minutes and it was your pretty good average burger and shake.

Young man working the register was friendly and made sure to check things were allergy friendly, specially dairy free. They have specific allergy cards to reference if asked, which I always appreciate!
Really liked the burger, pattys are smaller but the taste was good enough I didn’t mind.
Curly fries were really good and not too greasy. Probably won’t get onion rings again, taste was mostly the breading, not much onion, but they’re okay.

Great burger place! We liked it so much we went two days in a row during our trip. The staff is friendly and service is relatively quick. We did expect to be able to order in our car, but you need to order at the window. The french fries were a bit salty and the milkshakes were VERY thick, but the strength of the burgers outweighed this. Definitely recommended.
