Came here for breakfast after reading the great reviews, and we were pleasantly surprised how well reality lived up to the hype. This is a seriously good breakfast. Our portions were generous, and the meals were delicious. The buttermilk pancakes are awesome! My corned beef skillet was one of the best hashes I’ve had in a long time, and we’re from PA Dutch country. In fact, we’re planning on stopping by again tomorrow morning before we leave Anchorage. A place so nice, you gotta go twice (or more, but we won’t be here to keep coming back though we will be back if we ever return to Anchorage). Vegetarian options are available, and the service was quick and polite.

My omelette was the reason I used to eat omelette, perfect fluffy, cheesy omelette with mushrooms and spinach, with avocado. Pancakes with warm syrup and perfect butter, yes please.

The server was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean and nice on the inside. I actually was pleased when I came in, it looked more appealing than the outside. I ordered the Sausage gravy and biscuits. I believe it was called Ultimate Breakfast, because it came with eggs and sausage as well. I would have preferred the just the eggs. The 4 sausage links was too much. The biscuits were delicious, fluffy and yummy. The gravy was not bad not special nothing to be overly excited about. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the temperature of the gravy is Luke warm! I would like my food to be hot! Also when you know that’s sitting in a pot premade you want to be sure it’s at a safe temperature. I do find this to be a common issue at many places I get sausage gravy and biscuits.

So happy we found this little gem. Stopped by with our family or 10, and they quickly put together a table for us to sit together. Food was great! I specifically enjoyed the very crispy hash browns and the buttery fluffy waffles. Service was A+. A great spot for comfort breakfast.

Heidi’s is an absolute gem in Anchorage! From the moment we walked in, the place was spotlessly clean and had that warm, welcoming, hometown diner feel. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel like regulars right away.
The food was excellent—classic comfort food done right. We had breakfast and everything was cooked perfectly: the chicken fried steak was crispy and flavorful, the eggs were just right, the potatoes were seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the pancake was fluffy and delicious. You can really tell they take pride in their food.

This is an all American family restaurant specializing in breakfast and brunch. They’re open from 6 AM – 3 PM. Everyone here was friendly and attentive, they all served together as a team. The food was served fast, hot, and fresh. Good food at a reasonable price. Plenty of parking. The restaurant is clean,modern, and comfy. This is a great place if going solo or meeting up as a group. I was also pleasantly surprised to get a complimentary kitkat with my bill. That was a “sweet” gesture.

Very delicious breakfast, clean and good environment! I was seated immediately and offered coffee right away. They work well as a team here. I’m only visiting, but if I wasn’t I sure would come here often! My server Alysha was awesome!
