A great place for lunch or dinner while down at the beach. Fresh, farm to table food. I recommend their bowls, salmon blt, fries, and the nachos. Sometimes they have live music. A nice, relaxing beach atmosphere and bar. Pay to park. Indoor and outdoor seating

I was nervous to come here after reading the other reviews. We had a top notch experience, our waitress Dia was so kind and brought fun kids drinks with neon bracelets to my kids. The nachos are a must, they were massive. We ordered oysters Rockefeller and it literally tasted like spinach and artichoke dip seafood heaven. Very good. And my lobster roll was loaded, I could have eaten the aioli with a spoon. Definitely stop here for lunch!

I was super excited to check this restaurant out because of all the vegetarian options. We decided on the beet dip for an appetizer. The chips were tasty as well as the carrots but the cucumbers didn’t taste pickled at all. I ordered the Pacific Bowl and it was wonderful. The coconut rice was amazing and everything tasted perfectly together. I loved the pickled carrot, too. I got the hibiscus margarita but that was just okay. The grapefruit crush was much better. Also the outside patio furniture is turning very rusted and I was afraid to sit on it and cut my legs. Overall very happy with the food and drinks.

Let’s just say, save your time and money and forget about this place. My kids got a cheeseburger and grilled chicken. See the pictures below….where is the chicken? Where is the burger? I’m not joking, this is how they came out. Also paid top dollar for a mediocre lobster roll. If you walk towards this place, take the stairs up to the other restaurant, Mangos. The waiter was also very rushy for a place that wasn’t busy. Do not recommend

The service was pleasant and we did not have a wait time at all for our table. I had the Heidaway smash burger and it was delicious. The fries are top-notch. They offer pick-up so if you’re wanting to eat by the beach, this is the perfect restaurant.

We had excellent service and very friendly. The food was great!! Very fresh and tasted amazing. It had a very cool atmosphere, being right off the boardwalk. The drinks were the best I had in a long while. I definitely recommend you visit this spot.

My family ordered a crab cake sandwich, lobster roll, and a shrimp Caesar salad. The food was all great, but was a bit on the pricy side for what you get. In addition, I have dined here in the past and the menu seems to have shrunken and no longer features some of the dishes I previously enjoyed. The menu appears to be more focused on salads and burgers now. The margaritas were also good, but were also pretty pricey. Our server was also very good and consistently kept our water glasses full. The atmosphere of the location was also great as it was very well decorated with a mixture of nautical and contemporary elements. Overall I had a great experience at the Heidaway, I just wish the prices were lower but they aren’t surprising given the proximity of the location to the boardwalk.

We’ve been to this restaurant twice now in the past month, both during late lunch times. 4 people in our party the first time, two people the second. The menu is virtual, so be sure to bring your smart phone to scan the barcode to access the online menu. We were seated quickly and the service was attentive. We were not in a hurry either time and were out in a reasonable amount of time. Drinks and food ran about $30 per person. The food is very tasty with restaurant specific touches such as rosemary ketchup and locally sourced greens and food sources. It is a limited menu, so picky eaters may be challenged but if you take a chance, you will likely be pleasantly surprised. The jerked chicken sandwich was great and the lobster roll was full of fresh lobster. The bar drinks were satisfying and the choices were plentiful. The ambience, both inside and in the breezeway was very beachy and enjoyable. We will be back again!

This restaurant was incredible ! From the servers to the food. !! Our waiter was Jackson. He explained the menu and was very attentive. We had tacos, scallops and two of us had the Beef Short Rib ! It was so delicious and the presentation was awesome ! The grilled cheese for children was huge. The French fries were also outstanding. We cannot wait to go back.
