We are here cleaning out house out for sale…and we’ve moved almost everything. Saying that, we’ve had to dine out for every meal. Heggs has been our go-to place to eat. Love the breakfasts…generous portions, and the hash browns are wonderful. We haven’t had a meal that we haven’t liked! The service is good, smiles everywhere and always a welcome when we arrive and they always invite us back. My only problem is that they are currently closed on Wednesday…leaving us to forage at the store or find another restaurant. But as busy as they are, I guess they deserve a day off. Try the chili…I think it’s great!! Thank you Heggs for being so nice.

We stopped in while heading out of town. I got the 8oz ham breakfast with a chocolate chip pancake. My boyfriend got am everything skillet. It was incredible. The breakfast potatoes were cooked perfectly, the ham was thick and tasty, and the pancake was large and fluffy and the greatest pancake I have ever had. His skillet was a perfect mix of eggs and veggies and meat. Most of the time you see a lot more eggs than meat in skillets but not this one he had lots of ham, bacon, and sausage in every bite and he said the onions were grilled perfectly. I don’t come out this way practically ever but if I ever do I will come here. The waitresses were friendly and efficient. Cooks for our food our quick. I was amazed with how good everything tasted with his speedy the service was. You usually don’t get that. But I was pleased with everything about this place. You are doing a great job!

This little cafe has it’s strengths, friendly service, wonderful sandwiches and grill items but don’t order a steak. I’ve done so twice now and been disappointed both times. The steaks look fantastic but have very no flavor. For the price a person pays for a steak at Heggs, flavor should be a given.

The place was bright, cheery and clean. The service excellent. The veggie omelet was pretty dang poor. The fresh mushrooms were good but the other veggies were undetectable. Over cooked greasy everything. The taste of the eggs and hash browns was off like the grease was old.

It’s okay for a local dinner. This was the second visit and my order was not correct, again. The first visit I placed and order by phone (7 to be exact) and 2 were wrong. It’s our lunch break so we kept the orders. My thought is/ was that maybe their not use to large orders. This time I went in person and my order was still not what I was promised; I ordered a Turkey meal and the mash potatoes were sour, when, I called back to complain about the order I was told they make their mash potatoes with sour cream. Well, I told them I was returning the lunch order. My money was returned with an apology for any misunderstanding. I accepted and left. As for ordering from them again the answer is NO.
