Every food item that I tried was incredible. The Ritz Crusted Cod was cooked and flavored to perfection. The mashed potatoes were among the best mashed potatoes that I have ever eaten. The crab cakes were fantastic as our appetizer. The service was the best of the best and the lakeside atmosphere truly enhanced the whole experience. Go to Hefner Grill if you want a top notch dining experience. They are the best of the best and better than all of the rest!

We had an amazing experience at Hefner Grill, thanks to Tucker! The food was absolutely wonderful, the service was truly over the top, and the scenery was unbelievable. Sitting there with that view just elevated the entire meal. And dessert — wow. The toffee cake literally melted in my mouth… hands down the way to go. Already excited for summer and enjoying incredible food right on the water. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely BEST FOOD and CUSTOMER SERVICE I have had in a restaurant in a long time. There was five of us and we all ordered something different so we could share and as I tasted my husband’s sea bass I thought that was absolutely amazing until I tried my teriyaki Maui and it was even better, then the grouper even topped that. We also had the crab cakes which was the best I have ever had but the crab dip gave the crab cakes a run for the money. Now as if all that wasn’t absolutely PERFECT we had desserts and when our wonderful server Ivan suggested the toffee cake I was like that just sounds weird well let me tell you it was delicious and I know your waiting for the star of the show and let me tell you THE KEYLIME PIE WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD ABSOLUTELY TO DIE FOR. Now on to the service everyone was friendly from the time we walked in the door till the time we left. Our server would take the time to tell us not only the specials but the price as well he was on top of things making sure we never ran out of tea. The manager is WONDERFUL checking on us to make sure things was as we expect led them to be so with all that being said if your in Oklahoma City area it is definitely worth your time to go have dinner eat at HEFNER GRILL !!!

We chose Hefner Grill to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and everything was absolutely wonderful as always. We ordered Tuna Tartare as an appetizer, followed by Lobster Roll, Grouper Vera Cruz, and Paul’s Pasta with shrimp in Alfredo sauce — which was simply amazing!

We planned to enjoy a seafood dinner on the water with an ambience that invited us to remember an earlier era; instead we watched time go by and by while waiting for our food. Our app took nearly 30 minutes to arrive and dinner followed before we could finish the crab cakes with no apology. Both mains were over-seasoned. Best course was key lime pie for dessert. Live jazz music was tasteful.

Hefner Grill was very accommodating to my large party. We had a group of about 12 people and they set us up in our own little section. The wait staff was friendly and kept our cupcakes in the refrigerator for us until we were ready for dessert.
Many of us ordered Paul’s Pasta which was under $20 and included a side salad. We also ordered a few starters for the table including the Crispy Calamari, Spinach Artichoke Dip, and Lemon-Garlic Hummus.

Went there twice for lunch. They do have outdoor seating with the view of the lake. Added bonus dog friendly too!

First time eating smokes salmon. It was delicious. Great service. Atmosphere was quiet even though they were extremely busy. Setting in the enclosed patio watching the sunset going down on Lake Hefner is so relaxing and beautiful.

I ordered the crab dip for an appetizer. It was a bit greasy. I ordered fish tacos and substituted the shoestring fries for asparagus. The fish in the tacos were nonexistent. The asparagus was undercooked. However, the waiter and manager were very accommodating and assured me the food quality will be better next time. The atmosphere is serene and personable. The deck and patio are perfect for sunsets.
