I haven’t been to Hefner Grill in a couple of years and it did not disappoint. Our timing was great and they were not busy. We got a great table overlooking the lake. The service, food, and drinks were very good too. With the warm weather I was thinking a salad sounded good and chose the Seared Ahi Tuna salad and my friend got the Tuna Poke Bowl. It was hard to decide because they have a good selection. The service was great and we even had a server changeover, but it was barely noticed because they continued to check on us and kept our water glass filled (even when we were getting ready to leave and said we didn’t need any more water and he filled it anyway). I will be returning and not wait as long this time.

I had a to go order on Monday this week and had the worst salmon I’ve ever had in my life. It was completely burnt and the driest piece of salmon I’ve ever had. To make it worse, they left out the side sauce. It’s a $33 entree completely wasted. My sons cheeseburger was also charred to a crisp and insanely salty and he couldn’t eat it either. We’ve gone here for years but the food quality has really gone down hill. I called back right away to let them know and a manager was supposed to call me for a refund but here we are days later and no call.

My husband’s food looked amazing. My burger was just ok. Just another burger. Nothing fancy. While they were good about letting me know about fries being fried with seafood. I forgot their chips are too. So had a little allergy issue but….. had a blast for our birthday party.

This was the first time we have ever been here, we made a reservation last night for 2:00pm. When we got there we had no problem finding a parking space, we went inside told them our names and our reservation time. We googled where to get fried green tomatoes, on Google it said this was one of the 13 best restaurants in Oklahoma City that carry them. We got a booth with a really good view, we got to see the whole lake. Our servers name was Genny, she was really polite and kind and prompt we got two glasses of iced tea unsweet with Sweet’N low and lemon. I got pork chops with Rockefeller and fried okra, my husband got catfish with red beans and rice and Cole slaw. Everything was excellent, from the hostess that seated us to our server. We will definitely be going back there, it is a really nice relaxing environment and the food is excellent. The price for what you get isn’t bad at all, we had to take ours with us we had so much. I would recommend this place to everyone, we walked around the lake after we ate it was so cool.

Great food & great service! Shari had Pauline’s Pasta, and I had Fried Coconut Shrimp. Shari said the Marinara Sauce was spicy, so she was glad to have the Alfredo sauce blended in. The Coconut Shrimp was very flavorful, and the portion size was perfect. The live music was a nice touch too!

Great place for a special occasion, ladies night out, or lunch with friends. Coconut shrimp is outstanding as are the appetizers, salads, and filet (although the filet is quite pricey). Exceptional service. You can easily sub any side if you don’t care for the ones offered.

Food is always consistent and great. This is my spot to go for fish. It is fresh and very well cooked. The sea bass is my favorite one in the menu and my husband loves the filet. Service can be a little bit slower in the busy hours but definitely worth it.
