I parked on the street. I’m honestly not sure if there is more or better parking elsewhere I didn’t look. I hate street parking but oh well… It was early so, no worries.
This was my 1st time here at this location. So when you enter, it’s odd. It seems as tho you’re walking through the servers areas. IDK it was just weird but whatever, you have to walk through that to get to customer seating soooooo…
Our waitress pretty much came over right away. She made suggestions, we ordered. I ordered a Cesear salad and a sangria. The sangria was a little bitter so I asked if the bartender could make it a little sweeter and he did. It was delicious The “croutons” on my salad were different from any I’ve ever had. Good. Just different. It was if they were crushed all over the salad. Again, very good. And the serving size was rather large. I was surprised I finished most of it. I would definitely order that again. My friend only ordered the truffle fries and omg they were so tasty! I couldn’t stop eating her fries
The service was great. We didn’t wait on refills or anything we asked for. Everything was great! This location’s service far exceeds the Beachwood location. I cant wait to return!
Called before I hit the road to check if I need a reservation, the lady over the phone was very nice.
Made it to the place, we had to park on the street (which I did not like). The entrance and first impression was great, the host was super nice, tables are clean, atmosphere was great, the place was super clean and smells nice.
The waiter (Angel) was Amazing!
Food came in no time, drinks and awesome.
The food tastes so good.
Prices are acceptable, restrooms are very clean, smells good and has hot water.
I will definitely give it another visit.
Heck’s hasn’t endured purely on its warm, welcoming atmosphere alone. The food and beverage is consistently strong. I often stop in simply for fries and a cocktail—both of which are standouts. The fries arrive piping hot, crisp, and perfectly cut and seasoned. Their spicy margarita is again perfect—well-balanced: bold, with just enough heat, sweet balanced with sour. They tend to disappear a bit too quickly—a testament to how well-executed they are.
On a recent visit, I discovered the “sweet burger”—a fun dessert composed of a brownie and ice cream between two chocolate chip cookies, styled as a burger and served with funnel cake fries and a raspberry coulis “ketchup.” The cookies and brownie were standard, but the funnel cake fries with the coulis were phenomenal. I’d order it again purely for the funnel cake fries, coulis and the fun factor.
All in all, Heck’s remains a beloved neighbourhood classic.
My coworker called to address the mistake and spoke with the manager, we were told his name is Alex. Instead of listening and trying to resolve the issue, Alex was rude, dismissive, and raised his voice on the phone. He insisted he personally packaged the food, but it was clear that the order was not correct.
The fries were unseasoned and not what we asked for and the customer service was extremely terrible and left us feeling disrespected. We like Heck’s and have supported them often, but this type of treatment makes it hard to come back. Alex’s behavior in particular turned what should have been a simple fix into a very unpleasant experience.
The burgers were okay, albeit a little dry. I ordered the burger with short ribs on top and I could barely find the short ribs. The fries were good and crispy.
We also tried their truffle pierogies appetizer, which were really good.
The drinks were probably the best part of the meal.
The atmosphere is nice they do have a great outdoor area too in the service was great but I felt like the burgers were lackluster and the reason why we came.
Sadly, I feel like it’s one of those places where you try it once and that’s enough.
I still recommend checking them out for yourself.
