Reviews
Value: Standard, with pricing on the higher end compared to similar restaurants; can find better imo
Interior: Quite lively during peak hours. Our table area unfortunately could’ve used some cleaning before we were seated
Service: Extremely slow but the available staff were trying their best
Logistics: Parking can be busy during peak hours, and our party had no wait for a Sunday dinner.
Long delays and “sold out” excuses while others received them.
Nearby tables who arrived after us were served quickly while our table waited 40+ minutes for items and was repeatedly ignored when we asked for updates. Multiple items we ordered were not delivered; staff told us they were “sold out” while we watched them shortly served these items to a table after us.
We had to advocate to remove items that we never received, which should not be on the customer to catch.
DO NOT SUPPORT DISCRIMINATION!!!!
To be clear, this is not the fault of the workers, who were all clearly overworked, sad and trying their best. I only saw one worker serving tables, cleaning tables, doing the cheque, replacing and refilling the pots etc. This is the fault of the owners who are cost cutting at the expense of both the workers and customers.
For the lack of better options, this place is ok. But if you can go somewhere else, please do.
First, the restaurant was clearly understaffed. Service was extremely slow, and the staff seemed confused about what we had ordered, which led to multiple mistakes and long waiting times.
Second, the food is overpriced for what you get. Portion sizes are very small, and although the menu advertises Wagyu beef, the quality of the meat did not live up to that claim at all. It was far from what one would expect when paying a premium price.
Third, the dining environment was uncomfortable. The restaurant was very cold, and there did not seem to be proper heating or air conditioning, which made it hard to enjoy the meal.
Lastly, based on my observation, many of the positive Google reviews appear to be incentivized (for example, offering free drinks in exchange for reviews), which makes the overall rating feel misleading compared to the actual experience.
I hope the management can address these issues, as the current experience does not justify the price or the high rating.
