We’ve been here a few times before and decided to try the cupcakes. They were excellent! I had a vanilla almond and my husband had strawberry. The vanilla almond was perfect. There was a bit of almond in the cake, not too much. The frosting also was almond flavored with sliced almonds on top. My husband loved the strawberry cupcake. Both the cake and frosting were strawberry and the cake was dark pink. He said it was everything that you’d want a strawberry cupcake to be.

Staff was really friendly, food was really tasty. Good portions fair prices. They are open later then most breakfast places in town. I got an iced mocha, tuna melt and clam chowder, although I prefer a thicker clam chowder it was still really good. I love coming here they also have pretty quick service.

Wonderful breakfast at this quaint spot. Coffee was good as well. It was busy so the service was a little slow but otherwise a great spot for pastries or fresh home cooked food. The eggs Benedict was a highlight. Cooked to perfection. The pancake was so so but everything else was just so delicious. The prices are some of the best around and it’s a very cozy atmosphere.

Have been to Heavenly Bakery several times but today and the previous visit about 5 months ago got up and left because service was lacking. Both visits, we were seated and told our server would be right over. 20 minutes later still no server so got up and left. Todays visit, the table next to us got seated after us and server came promptly and took there food order. Very disappointed because we really have liked this place all the other times.

Don’t order chilaquiles if you’re expecting them to be like traditional Mexican chilaquiles. The ones I ordered were $16. They looked like they were warmed-up tortillas with canned enchilada sauce poured over them. They were dry and flavorless.

Working with Carlos and Heavenly Bakery on our wedding cake in 2022 was wonderful every step of the way. Tasting the different flavors at the bakery was a fun and very positive experience, and Carlos was dedicated to getting all the details down to make sure the elegant rustic berry cake was exactly what we wanted. Day of delivery to our venue (Paicines Ranch) went smoothly and as the bride I was truly stunned when I saw the cake for the very first time at the beginning of the reception! I had sent Carlos a picture of what I was envisioning and it was EXACTLY like the picture, actually even better. Cozy friendly restaurant with great food, freshly made and served by a great wait staff. One waitress, in particular, deserves a ‘shout out’ for her superior service. The waitress is named Beth! She is always smiling, kind and courteous.
