We had a wonderful meal at Heart’s Family Restaurant in Union. The service was friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. The food was full of great flavor — everything tasted homemade and comforting. The fried okra in particular was a standout — it tasted just like it came fresh from the garden! You can tell they put care into what they serve. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I are from out of town. But when he passes thru, he stops at this restaurant. It is always a “hit” or a “miss”. And tonight was our final “miss”. We passed a couple if tables that still had dirty dishes on them.It took awhile to get waited on. My husband ordered 10 wings and they brought only 5 wings and said the rest will be out. But those wings were refried and dried out. My food had hair in it. And had to wait on silverware and they brought plastic utensils out instead. I’m really disappointed because my husband used to liked the wings here. And management attitude was not professional. We try to find the good every time we come here. But when you are running a business, professionalism is a must. All of our food was returned.

I finally tried Hearts Family Restaurant in Union, South Carolina last weekend and ordered the fish plate that comes with fries and coleslaw. My food was fresh and hot when I got home which is a 15 minute drive tilapia was battered perfectly and fried too. Perfection coleslaw was homemade and wonderful they serve crinkle fries as well with a drink for 999. If you have not been to Hearts in union I recommend this highly because I returned this weekend and got me another fish platter and treated myself for Valentine’s Day. Customer service is friendly courteous and very helpful. If you have questions, please put this on your bucket list. They have daily specials. I think they have wings Monday through Friday a dollar wings not sure what their Friday special is but maybe somebody else post that but please try this restaurant. It’s one of my new favorites thank you everyone At Hearts for treating me like family❤️

Unfortunately 1 star was the least I could give. Horrible experience. Took the server almost 10 minutes to even approach the table. They only had 2 ripped up menus to pass around to the tables. Food is subpar at best. Service is slow and VERY lacking. We only had a party of 3, 2 entrees arrived. The 3rd arrived almost 15 minutes later. Tenders are tiny and dry. Bread was burnt. Fried green tomatoes were over fried and chewy. Had to ask for refills, had to get our own straws and napkins. Flies every where. First time, definitely won’t be a 2nd.

I had porkchop plate, fries fries were not hot, porkchop dried out. Also had oion rings burger kings is better. My husband had the hamburger plate slaw and fries. Needles to say no flavor wen it came to the stake, slaw was gross and fries just yuck. Only good thing was the service.

Hands down Hearts hamburger steak with cheese is by far the best I tried other types of hamburger steaks in other states, they cannot compete with Hearts Drive in, everything on there menu is so darn Delicious.

The place has it going on now. The food was great and the service was spot on. You would that Gus was in the kitchen, himself. It took several months but they have really made the necessary changes.
