It is a cool place for the whole family, there are some cut out things where you stick your head through and take pictures. Friendly people, service with a smile and a “How are you doing today?” And they actually care that you are enjoying yourself and the food they prepare, which is delicious!!! Every bag has a hand drawn character of some kind that was drawn that day, just to make you smile. It’s a fabulous place to sit at one of the tables out front and just people watch or chat with others.

Local favorite! I love the chocolate covered coffee bean I get when I order a chi latte. Great place to get your cinnamon roll fix and their herb bread is heavenly. Hang around long enough and your heart and spirit will be blessed too!

We went here several times while in NakNek area. I had a few lattes there which were consistently good. One day we stopped in for lunch and had a 3 meat sandwich which was really good and at a fair price for the area. When one morning I had one of their cinnamon rolls I was truly impressed. First I looked at it and was overwhelmed by the size, but since I was splitting it with my brother it turn out perfect. Next the thing was covered with an icing and I am not a fan of really sweet, but fortunately the icing turned out to be not overly sweet. Then when I tasted it I was sold OMG – it was delightful. I have never had one like this before and only wish they sold them somewhere I am more likely to go back to. Also of note is the staff here is very friendly and accommodating. I was pleased with the service prices and quality here and would love to go back some time. Only down side of the place is there is really only outside seating and given the wonderful Alaska weather it is hit and miss when you can sit out and eat.

A family owned and operated coffee shop is the epitome of Naknek spirit. From the moment that you step up to their window, you feel the honest to goodness love that exudes from Jesse and the whole clan. Esset will usually be found making the homemade rolls that serve as the base for their homemade sandwiches or ginarmous cinnamon rolls. Anything you get here is guaranteed to be delicious.

This place… Where do I even start..Not only do they make THE BEST cinnamon rolls known to mankind (No joke, halfway through your first bite Modern English makes a personal appearance in your conscience softly serenading you with “I Melt With You” while all your previous cinnamon roll experiences fade into limbo never to be remembered again) they also are the most genuine and kind people you will come across in this adventure we call life. On top of that you may just be lucky enough to hear them harmonize as they prepare your mind melting coffeeshop sweet-tooth craving, which is just icing on the cake considering its equivalent to listening to the voices of angels.
