Been here before, was still cool place. Back in town visiting my mom. Came back too have some drinks, and play some pool.
Nice and quiet in the daytime, pool leagues get pretty busy, as well as evenings.

I had a very uncomfortable experience at Headlines Sports Bar. When we arrived, the place was short-staffed and the only available table was dirty and sticky, covered with empty glasses and paper. No staff came to clean it, so I grabbed a spray bottle and cloth to wipe it myself.
While doing that, a woman who appeared to be a customer came over and grabbed the glasses off the table without saying a word, didn’t wipe the table, and walked away. Later, that same woman—who appeared intoxicated—began inserting herself into our business at the bar, telling the bartender to check IDs for people at our table. Ironically, my ID was never checked, even though I was the one purchasing the drinks.
When I questioned the inconsistency, I was told IDs are checked for everyone, yet the bartender admitted she wouldn’t do the same for people she “knows.” When I asked to speak to a manager, the woman admitted she was the manager, despite being off-duty, drinking, and behaving rudely. She rushed the conversation and spoke disrespectfully.
When I requested a refund, I was initially given only $4 back from $40 cash and had to wait over 10 minutes for the rest. When it was returned, it was done with attitude. To make matters worse, the manager then gossiped about me and my family to nearby patrons, including comments about one of the women with me. Overall, this experience showed poor management, unprofessional behavior, and what felt like discriminatory treatment.

The table was dirty and sticky with glasses and trash. No staff addressed it, forcing a customer to clean it themselves.

3..Inconsistent ID enforcement
The bartender did not check the ID of the person purchasing alcohol but attempted to check IDs selectively at the table. Admitting enforcement depends on who staff “know” is inconsistent and discriminatory.
4..Off-duty manager misconduct
The manager was off-duty, drinking, and still intervening in operations. She was dismissive, rude, rushed the conversation, and created a hostile environment.
5..Improper refund handling
Only part of the refund was initially returned, followed by a long delay and hostile behavior when the remainder was given back.
6..Gossip and discriminatory remarks
Management openly discussed and mocked customers with nearby patrons, including comments about appearance, which is unprofessional and inappropriate.

The bowling alley is great, but the food is not good. The environment in the bar is great for watching games and for drinks. I saw the server put all of the food I ordered in the microwave. I ordered chicken tenders, nachos, and pretzel bites, and they all did not taste good. The chicken tenders were cooked in old cooking oil. I would suggest eating before you go.

Just wasn’t very impressed. It took a little bit to get out food. Another patron came in after us, ordered a pretty large amount of food and he was just finishing eating when we got out food Then it took longer than it took a little bit for us to be recognized and get out check so we could pay and leave.

Stop in to watch some Olympic highlights and left with the experience of a lifetime. Katrina is a literal angel and life saver, truly dedicated to her craft and beyond. I unfortunately ended up choking on a chicken bone and without a hesitation Katrina jumped over the bar like an NBA player and proceeded to render aid. This girl saved my life and went back to work like it’s a normal occurrence for her to save lives. I will be forever in Katrinas debt and continue to visit headlines. 100/5 experience

Bartenders take more than enough time to make drinks…AND also don’t know how to use the right ingredients for Tea-shots. Rude, and expensive…for what exactly?? Done! After plus ten times, never going back.

We’ve been here multiple times and the service is always consistent. The wings are hands down the best in town, and the pot stickers and egg roll are just as good. Highly recommend!

Brett is awesome he really knows how to manner a great drink. It’s an assessment sports bar, and the people are cool chill this is a nice place you can eat drink play pool they have happy hour 11-3 2.00 draft you’ll love it here!
