To the guy behind the counter yelling at the lady on the register today and the lady at the order station — STOP. How embarrassing. Ensure all training and correction is done respectfully. I didn’t have an issue with my order. I appreciate the desire to keep up with a lunch rush, but I also don’t want my sandwich seasoned with anger or belittling.

Order a sandwich on line was there 20 min waiting for sandwich in the mean time customers were walking in placing an order at the counter and getting there food before mine and several others who had placed an order on line. Hint not good business !!!!

I love Head West but this location is consistently disappointing. Food quality is similar, but this location can never get its act together. Staff is pleasant, but always seems puzzlingly overwhelmed. Their collective bewilderment is present whether there are 2 customers or 20 (I’ve eaten their enough to see both sides). A key problem seems to be a lack of communication among staff and with customers. My last visit, picking up an online order took 40 minutes. And when mine and other orders were finally ready, the staff didn’t let us know, even though we all had checked in already (for me, after waiting in line for 20 minutes – for a previously-placed online order). This location lacks any semblance of organization. A real shame since it’s a “flagship” store near the downtown Lincoln sights.

The food is incredible. I had a Tuna sub on their Hawaiian style hoagie roll. I had the choice of toasted or non-toasted and went toasted. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is laid back. I was in town for a conference and told multiple colleagues about this place. I highly, highly recommend this place!

I always have a pleasant experience at this location. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I went in during the busiest time of day with two work colleagues, we all received our sandwiches very promptly, and with no mistakes! Not that I was expecting any mistakes, It’s just worth mention as we all know it happens sometimes during crunch time. I will definitely return again!

I recently came here to door dash. Two guys were just standing there talking amongst each other. One guy with a reddish beard and the other one dark blonde hair. Im not going to say it’s a color thing. But why as an African American they didn’t say “hello, how are you?” Anything. When other people did come they were very helping and asking them what they wanted. That’s terrible! These guys suck!

Good sandwich shop except they still have not completed Sandwich Making 101: do not put the sandwich under the toaster with all the ingredients (especially lettuce). Why is it so hard to toast a sandwich with only meat and cheese and then apply the other cold ingredients after.

Second time in a row they got my order wrong. It is not difficult when you order by the number on the menu. Big time failure!
Decided to try them again April 15th, 2024 and they got the order wrong again. I ordered a meatball sub with white bread not toasted and received a meatball sub on wheat and it was toasted. Perhaps these people need to lay off the weed they smoke behind the store and get the orders right.
