This is a smoke house! It’s about the meat. And the meat is for sure the star. This is not about fancy sides or done up add-ons, however the Brunswick soup is phenomenal. Also the sauces are home made and very good add ons. If you have never had banana pudding, get you some of theirs, you will be in love and making it for desert.

Awesome place to stop after a hike on the blue ridge parkway. My waiter was super friendly and attentive and just A+ all around. I popped in after a hike and was seated outside in a covered patio area. It had fans and Chris(?) the waiter invited me to adjust the settings if the patio got too hot.

The food was excellent. Brisket was well-seasoned and not dry. Mac and cheese was good and had a hint of garlic. Texas toast was excellent. Pulled pork was tasty. We have no complaints. Prices were reasonable and portions were great when compared to other similar places.

Second time eating here. We were in Waynesville furniture shopping and drove to Dillsboro just to eat. Best barbecue we’ve ever eaten. Lots of sauce selections. Many options. Great price. Ribs! Trust me. Just get a full slap. The dry rub is tasty enough you don’t need sauce. But if you like, they have several sauces to try. Sweet potato waffle fries and homemade potato salad where our two sides. Love the meal so much we got six additional ribs to go. Pro tip: #1 ask for server Jim Kelly (not the quarterback, but he certainly called the right plays!) He’s fast, friendly and makes great beer recommendations. #2 peach cobbler

Definitely worth a return trip! The brisket and ribs both had good bark and didn’t need sauce. That said, the array of sauces were all tried and offer a good pairing with whatever your flavor.

We decided to visit this place and have dinner there. There were a lot of people when we came. I like decorations out of the building. We ordered ribs and sweet potatoes French fries. Food was good, but the most I enjoyed a banana pudding. It’s delicious. When it’s a warm weather you can seat outside. I recommend to visit this place by yourself or with family.
