Lovely restaurant in historical building with beautiful furnishings. Server was a delight, though admitted he wasn’t old enough to make drink recommendations. He was very attentive and helpful. Food was good, but a bit too greasy and salty. I thought chicken salad would be a better option but they were out of it. Drinks were good and service was prompt, just wish there were healthier menu options available. Would visit again. Thanks for nice evening.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends. We dined in The Well Room. It was a very cool experience being seated at a glass top table that overlooks a deep well in a private room. The service was friendly, professional, attentive, and amazing. The dinner and desserts were delicious. I highly recommend the Filet Mignon, the spinach salad, the white chocolate blueberry cheesecake and the fried cheesecake. But now to the best part… the cocktails! The beer, wine and cocktail menu is extensive and impressive. We enjoyed the Lynchburg Lemonade, Joe’s Last Stand, and the Ruby Red Martini. The bar is beautiful and very unique. The entire restaurant is thoughtfully designed and decorated. If you’re planning a trip to visit this historic little town, take time to eat at Haywood House. You won’t be disappointed.

We enjoyed our dinner, but some of the dishes could be improved. The spinach salad is very refreshing, perfect to start the meal. However, the deep-fried onion had a harsh, raw taste, only partially offset by the accompanying sauce. The smoked scampi potato was a bit dry but delicious if you squeezed some lemon on top. A proper lemon sauce could bring this dish to a whole new level. On the positive side, there’s a massive beer, wine and cocktail menu. And the building, a restored historic hotel, is beautiful.

This is a very interesting find. There is a well that has been made into a glass top table. The food was absolutely delicious!!! We had the special, hamburger steak and stuffed chicken rolls. Can’t remember the specific name. So much food…. we had to get a to go box. The place is beautiful.!!!

Wow! What an amazing place… The food was excellent and the staff were awesome. We had a great time sitting at the bar shooting the breeze with Katt and Zack. It is rare to find such an extensive beer list in this area and I never thought that I would find Delirium in Jefferson Texas. We will be recommending this place to everyone we know and definitely coming back.

My sisters, cousins and I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. Beautiful facility, delicious food and great service. Our waitress, Mariah, was awesome. She even gave us a tour of the building. Cole was also very nice and helpful.
