Calling all carnivores!
We had a large, team dinner from work here and everyone had a great time! It was my first visit but certainly most from our party will visit again soon.
I would say it’s a middle of the road (price wise) steakhouse for the Houston area. The quality is excellent though not at all middle of the road. Service was attentive and the steaks were grilled to perfection.
It’s such a cool atmosphere too. There’s a modern Texas vibe. Lots of cool rooms which give a lot of options for small and large groups.

Kimberly was our waitress and she was awesome sauce, she was very friendly, professional knowledgeable about menu items and prompt, our glasses were Never empty our table was constantly cleared she made good suggestions and her services was down to earth , and hands down the very best in a long time ,my children loved her service, the food was tasty and plentiful we took home ,that is a first , appetizer was very good and yummy we had the chefs favorite and the shrimp omg was finger licking good, I would revisit, this place, didn’t try the drinks I had my children but the drinks I seen looked like they quenched a person’s thirst, very good spot to dine !!!! Thanks again Kimberley we went Saturday night, haywire will see u soon! Reservation was smooth our table was ready at 730 sharp I was very impressed and it was Saturday!

Underwelled. The menu looked amazing. We tried to start with the ceviche, which was good, missed the before pic. We ordered the elk tacos and chicken fried steak. Mains arrived within 5 minutes of the app,, NOT good when you have fried chicken. Tacos were absent of flavor, i got some hot sauce and then was just eating hot sauce flavored tacos.
We were in and out before the dinner rush and staff was still in getting ready/ no rush mode. I need a minute dots not mean 10. But the place looked amazing, killer views and great water. I’m a waste snob!

My husband and I had an outstanding dining experience here! The restaurant has a beautiful decoration and warm atmosphere that makes you feel welcome right away. The staff was so friendly and attentive, which made the evening even more enjoyable. We tried the tomahawk steak as our main course, and it was cooked to perfection absolutely delicious. The mini taquitos were bursting with flavor, and the fried pork belly with honey was a true standout the honey twist was just right, adding the perfect balance of sweetness. Every bite was amazing. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a wonderful overall experience!

This restaurant is beautiful, the customer service was great and I love how “Texas” it is. We wanted something light, ordered the steak salad and it ended up being so filling, but too good to stop eating. We also ordered the ceviche for an appetizer, extremely fresh and flavorful. Loved the homemade tortilla chips it came with. Their old fashion & Texas mules were also great.

We hosted a client event at Haywire. We were coming in from out of town, so the entire planning process was done virtually. We placed a lot of trust in our event organizer, Tracy, to help us throw an incredible event. Her support during planning was seamless, and we felt very prepared coming into the event. Tracy and her team were super accommodating with a few unexpected last-minute requests and it was clear they were going to go above and beyond for us.
The night of, we had 70 valued clients in attendance and the feedback we received from our guests was everything we had hoped for. Branden was our banquet captain, and his communication and hands-on support of the event was top notch. The little extra touches did not go unnoticed (a personalized host gift to name one!)
Tony ran an engaging whiskey tasting and everyone went home with amazing leather-branded luggage tags, done by Tatyana. Mark, Dom, and Tyler went above-and-beyond to make our guests feel welcome and taken care of behind the bar and with dinner.
We saw a lot of our guests at a conference the next day, and everyone was still raving about it. We will definitely be returning next time we’re in town!

In August, I planned my milestone birthday at Haywire and reserved the allocation room. Working with the staff to reserve the room was seamless and they were friendly and informative. The day of the brunch, we selected to have appetizers and bubbly set-up upon arrival and it was such a nice touch. The room was cozy, nice decor, elegant and clean. It was perfect for my party of 10. Our party had 2 people waiting our table and both were very professional, and went the extra mile to ensure the brunch went smoothly and enjoyable. The food presentation was stunning, the quality was amazing and my party enjoyed everything we ordered for brunch. I would definitely recommend this place to celebrate a special occasion. Thanks Haywire for a great celebration.

Such a fancy establishment with a nice southern touch. I came for the thick cut pork chop but the venison chili took 1st place. It was perfectly prepared with a side of homemade corn bread. We also had ribs and the elk tacos that are part of happy hour. Dominic did an amazing job. He was very attentive but had a very nice welcoming vibe that made us feel special. The texas frozen drink was different but good with a nice touch of lemon zest. We went too hard on the apps but will be back to try the desserts. NOTE: dinning and bar sitting are in one common area but they had a huge selection of private areas for more intimate parties.

Stopped in here in Nov 2025 for a lunch meeting. A great place for good dining with an eclectic atmosphere. The decor is nice for the ambiance. This location is a multi-floor location with ample seating and lounging options. A great happy hour destination with cozy seating. Parking by valet or in the parking garage at the location. This place can be crowded depending on the time. The service was just right. The menu choices equally good and plentiful. The food is wholesome with hearty portions. Good place for a business dinner or large group gathering. Definitely recommended. Will stop in again when in the area.

We’re always on the hunt for a new date night spot, saw Haywire and thought it sounded interesting. So we went…and we’ll be back.
We had the elk tacos (which if you go before 6 are only $7), garlic stuffed filet with macaroni (who knew you could melt Parmesan cheese like that), redfish with whipped potatoes, and whisky bread pudding… oh man!!
Next time we go we’re trying the meatloaf, and possibly the chicken fried steak. *note all their beef is Wagyu, even the meatloaf, so you will NOT be disappointed.
Can’t wait to go back!
