Hayloft Ice Cream is Lancaster’s new ice cream parlor, located just west of New Holland in Leola, PA. We offer delicious homemade ice cream flavors and soft pretzels. All proceeds go to support the work of Allegany Boys Camp, a year-round residential wilderness camp for boys ages 9-16 who are struggling in their homes and at school. You can support the work of the camp through your purchase of ice cream, soft pretzels, and other treats. Our staff are volunteers who contribute their time to help support the boys camp.

Get the peanut butter gelati, all the pretzel rolls are good, very cute place and clean, and with a good mission
All the money goes to the boys camp, and all the workers are volunteers-pretty neat fact.
Bring some quarters and you can feed the ducks outside.
Got the peanut butter gelati (peanut butter Italian ice (didn’t even know that was a thing!) plus vanilla soft serve) and it really did taste like peanuts! I only wish there were roasted peanuts or something added in-kind of reminiscent of Taiwanese peanut ice cream.
Our group was big so we ordered 2 of each of the 3 pretzel roll flavors: cheesesteak, chicken ranch, and the seasonal meatball
Cheesesteak: I found the beef a little bit on the sweet side but it was still good

Chicken Ranch: a bit on the creamy side, but also still good

Meatball: little meatballs are so cute, and taste good too!

Definitely eat them warm, also the soft pretzel is pretty good too.
Also, another person in my group got the apple pie ice cream, but the apple flavor isn’t really strong and it tastes more like caramel

A wonderful not for profit grill and I ce cream shop. Volunteer servers, nice menu, fun campy decor. I loved my soft pretzel and he enjoyed a caramel sundae. All proceeds benefit Allegheny Boys Camp

This place has a great peach soft serve. Every ice cream flavor we tried was delicious. They also have a nice area outside for children to play and a pond with ducks. Sadly the smell from whatever still water they have next to it make it pretty challenging to play in the playground. They have parking and outdoor & indoor seating.

Great spot! Food is always delicious and fresh, excellent service and quality. Always expect complimentary water and warm smiles when you enter the store. Children will love the outdoor play area, and adults can enjoy the peaceful scenery or the comfortable outdoor seating area. Would highly recommend!!

A true hidden gem!!! The soft serve blueberry ice cream was absolutely phenomenal!!! The customer service was friendly and efficient. It was such a great place to take the family for a simple dinner and a delicious treat!! Tucked away down a country road in Lancaster, it is a true destination place to visit.

This is a fun little spot to take your family for good food and a good time. The staff are super friendly and the place is very laid back. Also, this location tends to be a hotspot for the amish to visit. I highly recommend visiting this location when it is a nice day so you can enjoy the outside part of it.

Wonderful variety of food and ice cream. We enjoyed a BBQ Rib Log (pretzel wrap) and Cheesesteak pretzel with Cheeseburger soup and Chili. There is a variety of prepared salads and sides available. Pleasant staff and a worthy cause. Go!

Delicious soft ice cream! Chocolate, Vanilla & chocolate/vanilla twist always available, but be sure to watch for the flavor of the month. Black Raspberry in May, Strawberry in June, Peach in August are some personal favorites.
In June they also have an amazing
strawberry shortcake sundae. To dine before dessert check out the Pulled pork sandwiches, soft pretzels and stuffed pretzel logs. Soft ice cream quarts & ice cream cakes to go. The volunteer staff are always SUPER friendly.

This is a wonderful ice cream store. It is all volunteer based, and the staff are so nice. They have a monthly special flavor and incredible pretzels. Please remember to tip the staff. They are all volunteers . The peanut butter soft serve is the best !
