Avoid Haydn Zug’s! It was closed due to a horrible restaurant inspection that was conducted on September 3, 2013. The inspection stated that HAYDN ZUG’S was roach and insect infested along with other unsanitary issues. Avoid at all costs unless you want to get sick. This health inspection was conducted on September 3, 2013 and was reported in Lancaster Sunday News in Business Section on September 15, 2013 on Page D6. I was taking my wife there on September 3rd to celebrate our anniversary and was surprised that it was closed. The manager said that it was an kitchen emergency. Now, I know the real reason.

terry lee’s haydn zug always pleases. a beautiful colonial building, nice wine list and excellent entrees. our favorite is lamb tenderloins in a dijon mustard sauce. what a treat.

THE PRICE IS NOT WORTH IT. This restaurant charges for EVERYTHING, including the small salads that are the first course, even down to the onions on the side. Our bill came out to $98 for two dishes!! The quality was average, not gourmet, even though they are charging gourmet prices.
