We hosted a party for 40 friends at Hayat Kabab House, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was handled so beautifully and professionally.
They set up an amazing buffet with an incredible variety of food; every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Chapli kabab, crispy bolani, baingan borani, and chicken kababs were absolute standouts and a huge hit with all our guests. We received nonstop compliments about how delicious everything was.
A special mention to the owner’s wife for creating the most beautiful dessert table; it was elegant, thoughtful, and added such a lovely touch to the celebration.
Even though our venue booking was until 3:00 pm, they graciously allowed us to stay longer, which we truly appreciated. The vibe by the duck pool made the entire event feel relaxed, scenic, and special.
Every single guest loved the food and the atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place that delivers excellent food, warm hospitality, and a memorable setting, Hayat Kabab House is the place to go. Highly, highly recommended!

Hayat Kabab House is truly a hidden gem! The food was out of this world – every single dish was bursting with rich aromas and packed with flavor. The chicken kabab, chapli, and lamb shank were tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, filling the air with the smell of warm spices as they arrived at the table. The Qabuli Palao Rice was fragrant and layered with flavor, easily one of the most delicious and comforting rice dishes I’ve ever had. We ordered a variety of appetizers – three types of bolani (pumpkin, potato, and leek), garbanzo, and eggplant – and each one had its own unique aroma and texture, from crispy to juicy. Their house special rose lemonade was light, refreshing, and perfumed with delicate floral notes, and to top it off, they even treated us to hot, soothing tea on the house.
We came for a girls’ night with seven of us and sat at the Afghani floor table by the water. The setup was absolutely gorgeous – soft lighting, the sound of water trickling from the nearby waterfall, the ducks quacking and the warm scent of freshly grilled kababs drifting through the air made it feel magical and transportive. The staff went above and beyond – the owners are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. You can tell how hard they are working the minute you walk in, and their passion shows in every detail. They kept checking on us, explaining dishes, and offering recommendations. They even let us order family style, and the platters arrived like a colorful feast, beautifully presented and almost too pretty to eat.
The restaurant itself is spotless, cozy, and so charming, with an inviting atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The prices are very reasonable for both the quality of food and the area we live in, which makes it an even bigger win. Honestly, we couldn’t stop eating – every bite was better than the last – and now all of us want to come back with our families. I would return here in a heartbeat.

The food quality is exceptional, highlighted by the warm, freshly baked flat Afghan bread that is both soft and flavorful. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and savor a delicious meal. The place is very nicely decorated and has a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was not good at all. We ordered Chapli Kabab and rice, and both were very disappointing. It doesn’t at all taste like Chapli Kabab , The bolani was good, but the baklava seemed old and not fresh. Overall, the ambiance is nice, but the food quality needs a lot of improvement.

The house lemonade is really good. Ordered everything on the menu and it did not disappoint. As an Afghan, it is sometimes difficult finding an Afghan restaurant that exceeds our expectations. So far, I only like two Afghan restaurants. Afghan Awasana Kabob House in Fremont and now this one!

We went to Kabab house yesterday for Eid 2nd day dinner because we wanted to go to a special place for this day and we saw this and really liked the view. We called and booked reservations because we wanted the outside view. When we went there it looked beautiful and we enjoyed the staff is extremely respectful with great customer service. The food was so delicious with such rich flavors and high quality. And the view while eating was amazing. The entire family loved it, we reserved it for the view and it was great. We live in fremont and went far out just for this restaurant. It was an amazing day at an amazing place. We took a lot of photos in front of the waterfall. There isn’t a better place than this. Highly recommend.

We visited this spot a couple of years ago, and recently noticed it had changed names—so we decided to give it a try again. Now an Afghan restaurant, it absolutely did not disappoint!
We ordered the Chabli Kabob and Qabili Palaw, and both dishes were finger-licking good—full of rich, authentic flavors. Our waiter, Samy, was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
