I had a really good experience when I came here. My favorite item was the Smoked Salmon. Very good. Very rich with smoke flavor and a creamy buttery after taste. I could eat so much of that, but I had to stop. The appetizers were tasty, and the entrée filled me up, so I needed a to go box. Luckily, I got my left overs back to the fridge before they got room temp. It was worth the money, but it was still not a bad price.

My favorite restaurant ever and has been for years! I go every year for my birthday, and any other time that I’m in the area. The staff is extremely friendly, and they provide fast and wonderful service. The food is phenomenal, I can’t even begin to describe how good. But I’ll just sum it up by saying that, if I could only eat one type of food for the rest of my life, it would have to be from this place. Keep up the great work Hayashi!

Went to try this restaurant based on my friend’s recommendation. They have a big menu for a small place. The hotate butter yaki was delicious, the scallop cooked perfectly and the flavor is just on point! The meals were very nicely priced, super inexpensive for the quality. Angelou, our server, was amazing! She was handling all of the lunch crowd tables by herself, which was probably about 8 tables at that time, yet still managed to be friendly and attentive the whole time! My friend is a regular, and so they gave a complimentary, special ika sansai with seaweed which was flavorful and greatly appreciated! We tried the kitchen’s food today, since my friend said this restaurant has been around for over 20 years and they still have the same kitchen staff for all this time, so that tells you something! All the food we ordered today was great! Can’t wait to come back and try the sushi bar next time!

**ALERT SUSHI MASTERS LOCATED HERE! This joint is the most authentic Japanese cuisine I’ve ever had. One of the key indicators to me was when I first entered the restaurant, it didn’t smell fishy!! I had to double check to make sure I was in the right spot. Then you’re warmly greeted by MIA, the waitress. Man on man, she was serving 15 tables be herself and she hustled! Very attentive service. The sushi was served with the freshest fish and the rice was so soft, and flavors paired were dynamite. The Smoked Salmon Nigiri is a MUST TRY! To top it off, I really measure the service by simply asking for extra ginger and wasabi on the side and sure enough they brought me two large piles of ginger and wasabi!! I’d give them 10 stars for freshest sushi around, vast menu options, and service. They’ve earned my highest recommendation! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have eaten at many sushi places and I can tell you that this place is one of the best I have ever been to. It isn’t vey big, so you might have to wait for a table, but it will be worth it.

This place is really cute inside, a little crowded but nice. The employees were all really friendly and helpful, too, which is why I didn’t want to give less stars. The food was really hit or miss though, honestly. I wish the menu was clearer about what comes with each item. I had the steak teriyaki and tempura combo, which came with rice and miso soup or salad. I got a salad and regretted it. I normally really like ginger dressing but it was really strangely sour and not salty at all, just sour ginger taste. The miso soup my friends got looked good. The steak was good but small portion, the tempura shrimp were great and big, but the tempura vegetables were really disappointing. They look great but the carrot, onion, and pepper were super undercooked and almost completely raw inside. My friend got karaage, which was really overcooked bone in wings instead of what I’d normally consider karaage. Deep fried gyoza were really good. Other friend had chicken teriyaki which they said was good, though the portion was small as well. Pork katsu was extremely thin and small but good. Girlfriend had chirashi which looked great, she said it was excellent and the portion seemed generous. Overall, for the price it was a bit of a disappointment, but the employees and restaurant were so nice that I still enjoyed it.

Went to have dinner. Super friendly staff very quick service. Sat next to a family who said they came here as kids and now they bring theirs (regularly). A great experience I do recommend!
