Best sushi in Atlanta hands down. Phenomenal service, atmosphere, and food. The fish is flown in via the direct delta flight from Japan, cannot get any better than that.

The chef and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed the detailed descriptions of each dish as they were served, and their knowledge of Japanese culture and cuisine was both enlightening and informative.

Every dish was a culinary delight. The scallops were simply incredible—by far the best food I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting.

Highly recommend, 100% worth it.

Wow is the only word. I cannot find anything to criticize about my experience last night. The staff were so observant, kind and the highest level of professionalism. Monet taught me so much about Hokkaido (where chef Haya-San is from). Haya-San was so charming and lovely to learn from as well. The dishes were plentiful, beautiful and just the right amount of nigiri. So special. I loved this adventure and will be back as soon as possible. Thank you for the most memorable experience!

Where do I even begin…
After giving birth to my twins, my first sushi experience was here at Hayakawa and honestly, nothing has topped it since.
I’ve tried omakase spots in Las Vegas, Hawaii, and all over Georgia, but this place is still my absolute favorite. There’s a reason I keep coming back! The fish is always incredibly fresh, every course is beautifully presented, and the entire experience just feels special every single time.
The staff is so attentive and kind, and Chef Hayasan and Monet are my two favorite people ever. ❤️
10/10- highly recommend! Esp. the Uni add on!

We had an incredible omakase experience at Hayakawa. Every course was beautifully presented and showcased the chef’s precision and artistry, with flavors that were fresh, balanced, and unforgettable. The attention to detail and warm hospitality made the evening feel both intimate and special. Easily one of the best sushi dining experiences we’ve had.

My first visit to Hayakawa was during a kaiseki service, led by the wonderfully informative and hospitable Monet, so I had to return to try Chef Hayakawa’s omakase service. Unbelievable food, intuitive and elegant sake and wine pairings, and the opportunity to watch two masters of their crafts (both Monet and Chef Hayakawa) doing what they do best. Not to mention the top notch service provided by the incredible staff. I cannot recommend Hayakawa enough if you want to truly experience the pinnacle of Atlanta’s dining scene.

Amazing omakase experience. The sushi is top quality, the service probably better. Monet is spectacular. Her knowledge of sake and wine is phenomenal. Very personable and listens to her customers to tailor the experience. Haya-San is incredibly funny and engages with interesting stories about his life and your experiences while gleefully serving Michelin class sushi. Highly recommend!

If you’re searching for a dining experience that feels less like a meal and more like a meticulously crafted journey, Hayakawa is simply unmatched. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere sets the tone—warm, intimate, and quietly confident, just like the food that follows.

Every course delivered a level of precision, elegance, and depth that’s rare even among top-tier omakase restaurants. The fish was impossibly fresh, the rice perfectly seasoned, and each bite felt purposeful, balanced, thoughtful, and desired. Each dish simply presented to shine on its own while building toward an unforgettable finale.

What truly elevates Hayakawa, though, is the heart behind the craftsmanship. Chef Hayakawa’s presence is felt in every detail. His respect for tradition, his friendly and engaging presence and his mastery of technique bring a sense of place to the dining experience. Watching his focus and artistry, and then tasting the result, is something that stays with you long after the last course.

A sincere thank you to Chef Hayakawa for creating not just a meal, but a wonderful memory. Your skill, passion, and hospitality turned the evening into something extraordinary. Thank you. Atlanta is lucky to have a place like this and anyone who loves food owes themselves a visit.

Really enjoyed the Michelin starred Omakase experience with Chef Hayakawa.

The food was incredible including his special touch on delicacies from his home (Hokkaido) including the Hokkaido uni. I also enjoyed his personable demeanor and great conversation during dinner. I look forward to visiting him and his team in the future.

I went to Hayakawa for my birthday last night and had an excellent experience. The chef was fun and personable, and the staff made us feel very comfortable, especially Monet! We learned so much and had a really memorable evening, with amazing food and drinks. I highly recommend doing the alcohol pairing. Monet serves incredibly unique and thoughtfully sourced wines and sakes you cannot get anywhere else. The space is very intimate. Easily one of my favorite omakase experiences.
