We had a craving for pizza and found that most restaurants that served pizza were closed on Sundays oddly. We found this place and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is located inside a hotel. The signage outside was very hard to understand because they had signage for the hotel for the Pizza as well as the bar, which were all different signs with a few different doors to go into. At the end, the pizza restaurant was actually just an extension of the bar. The staff was attentive. And the pizza was made with all fresh ingredients and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for a quick bite with a fun trendy atmosphere.

After research for best wood fired pizza in Santa Fe including walking to multiple places to check out I discovered HAWT. This pizza hit all boxes as a 10 out of 10. I’ve been making pizza for years and using a Webber Grill-just like Owner did when starting. Unfortunately I live on East Coast and can’t get back too often. But this is by far one of the top pizzas in memory. I told chefs same before I left that night. What a discovery!

I’m a pizza snob from NJ and this pizza blew me away. The crust and the sauce were perfect. Highly recommend. Great place to grab a bite downtown, chill environment, excellent price for what you get, great drinks too.

Amazing thin crust pizza!
I will start out by saying it doesn’t transport well. Not a place for takeout. But if you eat in, AMAZING! Mark, the “Pizza Guy” does a fabulous job even when the bar is 3-deep. He keeps a smile on his face and tosses that dough with expertise! End result is a perfectly crispy crust with generous toppings. Great pizza! We’re there at least once a week.
Again – don’t try it for take out. We only live 5 minutes away, and for some reason it doesn’t make it even that far. It doesn’t re-heat well. But if you can eat there, you may find it the best in SF. Eat in and enjoy the friendly bartenders and good cocktails.

Great pizza gem inside the bar of Hotel Chimayo. Being from New York I nearly gave up on finding good pizza in Santa Fe. Great dough, fresh ingredients and good vibes.
