We stayed at the Otesaga Hotal and decided to eat at one of the two restaurants on site. I am so glad we did. The menu was one page which was nice because you didn’t get overwhelmed with options. The food was flavorful, filling and a delightful treat for your palate. If you’re a wine drinker, I suggest the Moscato. The service was great and you don’t wait long for your food. Overall a great experience but can be pricey. Worth it though.

Found this place when looking for vegan options. One of the chefs is vegan so he made some great options. We came for dinner and they had a spot open. Waiters were excellent! Food was great. Dumplings tasted delicious and a lil spicy. The braised tofu was good, but had some uncooked rice. Went back for the vegan smash burger and that was delicious. Definitely visit this place and sit outside!

This restaurant is fantastic. Everything we ate there was excellent. I highly recommend the halibut, I had to eat that twice while we were staying there. They also have excellent homemade ice cream! All the servers are very friendly and professional. The atmosphere is amazing, cozy wood pub inside, gorgeous patio over the lake outside. This entire hotel is incredible, I hope to go back one day.

It’s definitely a place of elegance. The food is almost always excellent, the atmosphere is 5* class, and the location is at the south end of Otsego Lake. High end dishes such as seafood or prime rum will run about $30. An outstanding 1lb burger with 2 dides is about $20. Once I order prime rib and it was on the tough side. They removed it from my bill. I have absolutely no complaints about The Hawkeye Bar. 5 star all the way!

The wait staff was excellent, and the food was just as good. Even better was the view of the lake! I highly recommend the outdoor seating if the weather permits. If I’m ever in Cooperstown, I would definitely return for a meal.

Food was mediocre at best. The specials were very underwhelming…Mushroom soup under seasoned, pasta too lemony—that’s about the only flavor that was tasted. Jambalaya was too mushy. French onion soup however is good. Service was good as well as the ambiance. However, I would not recommend.

Had the pleasure of visiting the Hawkeye bar & grill while we visited Cooperstown. Definately a must try while you visit. View is gorgeous. The food was wonderful, the meatloaf was a generous portion and just so flavorful. 10/10 experience

The food was delicious — I ordered the smash burger and my husband had the steak burger, and both were seriously incredible. The appetizers were tasty too, perfect for sharing.
We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and they truly made it memorable and special. Thank you to everyone there for such wonderful service and a great night. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I had a lovely dinner for our 25th wedding anniversary. Rachel took care of us, and she did an outstanding job. She and “Jennifer Lawrence” (they will know who I’m talking about) were so kind and friendly with us. The food was delicious, the detail on our desserts was very cute.
