We came to Hawk & Griffin on a recommendation. We weren’t stirred wrong. Great atmosphere and decor. Made me feel like I was actually in an English pub. They have hand pulled beers on tap. I couldn’t believe they had Old Peculier (OP) on tap. It was served warmer than cellar cold. And I think it is getting old or they need to clean the line. Starting to sour on back end. The two meals were real good. They came out piping hot. I had curry on the side, with my Fish & Chips. Crispy batter and moist and flaky fish on the inside. The Cottage Pie was also very good. Both dishes weren’t huge, but were just right amount. The chips were doctored up with parsley and lite seasoning. The Sticky Toffee Pudding rival many UK pubs. We should go together. If it is a little closer, I would be there all the time.

Shoutout to TikTok for introducing this place to me! I’m honored to live 20 minutes from this gem. Fish bites, sausage rolls, pub cheese, and salt and vinegar wings have been a staple order for us. Fish and chips is also as good as everyone says. So far averaging a once a week visit for happy hour!

This place has quickly become my and my wife’s favorite spot. The atmosphere is like stepping into London itself and the food is wonderful as is the service. The ownership team seems to always be onsite and is friendly to the guests. My wife is also a huge Arsenal fan and the pub has their games on several screens each weekend. Did I say the food is great!

First visit – very pleased! Lots of lunch time guests, but we were quickly seated. It smelled wonderful and it was beautiful inside, lots of dark wood, and soccer on multiple tv’s. Bathrooms were clean and I enjoyed a quick game of darts in the back.
We enjoyed the fish & chips & the crispy fish sandwich, both were very good and went perfectly with our Guinness’
You have to save room for the STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING (cake) with ice cream for dessert.
Definitely will get that again!!!!

I was in the UK a few months ago and tried fish and chips all over…but honestly nothing came close to this place. The batter is perfected, and the tartar sauce is incredible. i ask for extra everytime. Service is always friendly

Absolute first class, and a must visit if you are near the Vienna, VA area. I chose to host a private function here and everything from booking a space through the service during the event, the food, and the personal attention of the staff and management went above and beyond my expectations. We even had the owner stop in to make sure that we were well taken care of. Thanks to our server, Charlie, and the rest of the team, the night was a great success. Very grateful, and look forward to our next visit.

Food: We ordered Coronation Chicken Salad/Sandwich, Wings, and steamed vegetables & Mashed Potato as sides.
We really loved the chicken salad sandwich, it was the Best I had so far!
But, wings were hard and not enough sauce. Mashed Potato was not cooked enough so was felt little hard.
Service: Our server was nice and polite.
Atmosphere: Nice place to watch games; they have multiple TVs and a projector on.
Overall good, but hopefully minor food quality things will change.

This place is fabulous, and surely has the BEST fish and chips in the area. Generous portion, seasoned perfectly, perfect flaky texture, and awesome house made tarter sauce. We’ve been at least 4 times now. Service is good / appropriate for the venue type and we’re always impressed with how the food exceeds our expectations for a pub. Also LOVE the bread pudding!

Excellent British pub in Vienna. British fare, Pub atmosphere and British beer in “proper” 20 Oz pints!
Extensive menu of Britsh and “regular” food. We had the Shepherds Pie and Chicken and Leek pie. Both were delicious. Mushy peas and chips! The corn soup app. wad also good.
Service was great. We sat outside on a very pleasant evening. Inside it looks like a pub with ample seating plus a long bar. They do have dart boards.
