Daily specials, good food, great service! I had a sloppy Joe…and it was great. Too much for the bun to hold and so sloppy a fork was required. That’s a true sloppy Joe. This was a weekday lunch trip, but will become a pit stop on weekend bike or jeep rides.

While traveling stopped in Vandalia for the night. Chose The Hawg since it was close to our motel. I highly recommend you stop by this place. The food was fantastic and their prices were amazingly reasonable. Great find after a day of travel.

The elder people seem to have allot of fun there’s pool and arcade and some casino games, the prices are very reasonable and actually cheap. But if you’re younger chances are you might get misjudged. Bartender has a bit of an attitude, the waiter came up to me and gave me a look of disgust.

Well as a out of towner the atmosphere was not pleasant and as I played a slot machine it felt like I was taking something away from them I had a very uncomfortable time I was polite and tip my bartender and left telling very uncomfortable

Walked in and there were no tables available so we left. People outside overheard my friends trying to decide on another place to eat and chimed in on a restaurant we were considering, told us it was good but they said they refer to it as “dirty Mexican”. I took that as a derogatory comment and decided this place wasn’t for us. We went to the Mexican Restaurant and it was great! Thanks for the tip, but keep your trashy comments to yourself!
